My fave beach park. Unfortunately, it had an algae bloom while I was there. You can take a long stroll along the shore, and it has may tree shades if you don't really like the sun. Please don't touch the turtles when they come to the shore.

It was a cool beach and had very cheap camping. Unfortunately the road is right next to the camping area. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and mopeds were zooming by and revving their engines at all hours of the night. Aside from that the families visiting the park for the weekend were so friendly. One group has friends and family playing live music.

Then the families started leaving after the weekend. Homeless people that were sleeping in the bathroom stalls all weekend started roaming the grounds. They were going in my tent while I was driving and visiting places on the north shore. One of the homeless people told me he was telling other homeless people it wasn't their tent and to stay out. But they were in there anyways. The last morning I was sleeping and some homeless lady unzipped my tent and started going inside and woke me up and I heard a guy she was with yelling to her that "someone is in the tent, don't go in! Don't go in!!"

Nice walk in the water and picnic beach. Bathrooms, nice grass, convenient bus stop and shopping across the street. The is beach camping available by permit. Homeless people can be little bit of a problem at times.
It is right of the road but far enough away from everything to be on quiet side.

It's a nice beach park, a lot of homeless tho. Limited parking but great space on the beach, has a structure to have birthday party or bbq under. Bathrooms aren't the best but still works, has showers. The waves I recommend 3yrs and up.(supervised) Kinda rough but fun, small sand area but still able to have fun on. It's a nice beach just to walk down.

Staying across the street, we walked across to beach. Thought a dead seal, but was just napping.
