I'm not even sure where to begin! I loved everything about this property and my stay here. The cabin I stayed in was perfect for me. I loved the outdoor bathroom! Everything was very private and peaceful. Both Dawn and Bryan were amazing hosts. I had everything that I needed. I loved the animals (ghost is pictured below) on the property and felt like home. I would definitely stay here again and again. It's a 30-minute drive to Hilo so keep that in mind if you're not renting a car. Make sure to sign up for one of the tours. Bryan is a wonderful guide. I went to the volcano park!!

I've stayed at Dawn's place at least 6 times and I just booked my next stay. Beautiful and unique place in the Hawaiian jungle within easy reach of anyplace you will want to go. The property is full of thoughtful and delightful touches. They have everything you could need and Dawn and her staff are extremely knowledgeable locals full of helpful advice for anyone wanting to experience the sublime magic of Hawaii Island.

If you are looking for a natural setting on the Big Island this is the place. The cozy cottages were beautiful and enabled you to experience the true beauty of nature. Hearing the birds and animals while you sleep cozily in a rain forest type environment. The hostess was so happy to take us on tours you probably wouldn’t experience anywhere else. Great experience and so reasonably priced. If you love a natural environment this will definitely be for you.

While visiting Hawai’i my family and I stayed in one of the junglows and there was plenty of sleeping space for two adults and two kids. The open air bathrooms were amazing and the community kitchen was very nice. Our tour guide Brian was amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable about where locations were, he knew about the local flora and fauna. We got to know the history, legends, and religion of the island. Best of all I got to spend my 40th birthday in a volcano!! I would highly recommend booking them for your next trip to the island.

Had a great time staying here and doing tours led by Bryan. The property is off the beaten path and has a rustic cabin feel that adds to the experience. Bryan took us to swim with turtles, see waterfalls and hike the volcanoes. His knowledge of the history, culture and natural environment made the trip amazing.

I had an amazing stay at the jungaloo!! The cabin was spacious and well kept. It was such a beautiful place and had eye opening trinkets everywhere you look. I will definitely be planning another visit!!!
