The Ko Olina sunset catamaran was fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere and sightseeing during the two-hour excursion. The crew was magnificent and went out of their way to make the experience that much better. We even had several whale sightings and our captain made sure to follow the whales to give us as many sightings as possible. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

We have travelled to Oahu several times. This time we did the afternoon Snorkel with Ko Olina Adventures. Captain Travis and his crew were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, informative and engaged with everyone on the boat. Our sandwiches were amazing and fresh, which you’ll appreciate when you get back in the boat. Drinks were perfect. It was not over crowded so lots of space to sit and enjoy the scenery. We had beautiful weather. Definitely recommend this Snorkeling adventure to all.

Phenomenal tour! Fantastic atmosphere! Hands down BEST tour team. The entire crew was exceptional and ensured everyone felt comfortable both in and out of the water. Capt Todd was hilarious and kept a great atmosphere. Saw a marvelous monk seal 🦭 and 🐋s along with several 🐢 and many 🐠

Excellent experience both the adventure and the sailing staff! My wife and I went along with our two kids (7/4) and we all had the best time. Sunset was and staff service perfect and they did a great job bringing groups of passengers together to have a great time! The boat was very clean and the staff were professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Hawaii to have a great time and view the sunset with a great company. Thank you so much!

As a traveler who experiences excursions all around the world, I was so impressed with the sail I took with Ko Olina Ocean Adventures, and I would book with them again in a heart beat.

Located in the Ko Olina Marina, there were no other tours happening during my arrival time and it was super easy to find with plenty of parking. The parking is paid, and cost $18.00 additional to the tour. If you’re staying in Ko Olina, you could potentially walk to the tour from your hotel as long as you’re ok walking back in the dark (the area is well-lit).

I took the sunset sail in mid-February. I’m not sure what capacity is on the catamaran, but it was not full during our sail.

Our captain was so nice and easy-going. He and the rest of the staff made everyone feel welcomed and taken care of the entire time. Obviously the smoothness of the ride has more to do with ocean conditions and swells, but Captain Todd truly took it to the next level and gave us such a smooth sail.

You’re welcome to walk up to the bar for drinks, but I love how the staff checks in regularly and brings you drinks when you need a refill - it’s great to be able to stay in your spot and not have to head to the bar. I’m plant-based and the staff accommodated with a vegan charcuterie bowl for me (I let them know in advance, I believe that the meat and cheese were pre-packed with the fruit & crackers for the non-vegan versions before the sail).

The music was completely on point and the sunset views were perfect! I loved the timing of this sail as we got to enjoy a bunch of daylight, and then wound back up at dock just after sunset (still enough light to begin your walk back to your hotel or enjoy some views of the last light before heading back out of Ko Olina).

We unfortunately didn’t see any whales, turtles or dolphins this trip - but the crew was surprised because they had been out a lot during the day. They must have put on a show earlier and been asleep for our sail! Crew told me that they’ve had whales and dolphins ride right along the boat at times.

The people and the vibes were wonderful, and it was the perfect sail around Ko Olina. Highly recommend!

The crew was so attentive to everyone and very kind and professional. We had a lot of “energy” on the water which they let us know ahead of setting sail. I overheard one of the crew telling someone where to sit to kick any nausea and were cool about not making anyone feel silly for feeling a little sea sick. When the captain spotted a whale, he was kind enough to stop the boat and try and catch another glimpse, which was a perfect opportunity to catch some amazing views of the sun setting too. They also played a well curated list of tunes, fitting for a sunset cruise. Would definitely do another tour with them!

On different days during this trip we took Ko Olina Ocean Adventures’ sunset sail, and their afternoon snorkel sail. Both were outstanding packages, a lot of great fun, and the crew and staff are warm, welcoming and full of genuine aloha. We took their sunset sail a couple years ago and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back again and are very glad we did. Thanks for a bunch of fun memories and amazing photos.
