I came to this store looking for a smith & Wesson mp AR sport 2 and they had it. Even doing this time of need we are in. The price was reasonable too. Even saves a box of ammo for you to buy at purchase. Super friendly and helpful with the gun your buying

Have not purchased a gun there as we are still in the process of finding the right match to fight our needs and budget but I will say when we went in they were very helpful in letting me handle the guns I was interested in and answering all my questions. I thought they were very nice and I actually learned a few things. The prices are better than the other gun shop in town and the staff is much more willing to help. I did not get a "snooty" feeling at all when we went in. I would definitely recommend this store if you want to be able to ask questions and handle the guns (you must have your FOID card) without feeling like you're a nuisance. They actually WANT your business.

Sold me a taser, came back in to pick it up and they tried to make me pay for it a second time! Swore up and down to me that I was a liar even after I showed them my invoice in my bank statement of the purchase. Take your money elsewhere there are far better gun store's with way better selections.

They are focusing on guns more so than sports but still good deals and great expert advice for beginners. I got my hunters safety course license there as a kid and have fond memories since. Thanks for being in business forever! Go in and buy an amber or nebo flashlight they only carry the best so you won't waste any time.
Sure do wish they would bring back adidas products though

I'd rate this lower, but there's no option for "ZERO."

I've lived in the area for almost 7 years now, and I've rarely bought products from this store, because their prices are somewhat ridiculous. However, I have decided never to darken their door again, after today's experience.

I had a pistol I want to trade, and I know it's not terribly popular, so I expected to be turned down. That normally would not induce me to negatively review a business, but my experience did.

I went in on the weekend and was informed none of the employees on duty that day could make a trade, so I'd have to come back when the manager was in the store. I went back on Monday and spoke with one of the employees, who took my pistol over to the manager, who was sitting in a chair behind the counter. He simply said "no," then said to me--without even getting up from his chair and looking me in the eye--"we don't take those here."

Like I said, I was prepared for a negative response, but to not have the common courtesy to come over and tell me "no" face-to-face is ridiculous. Customer service is his job, and he failed at even the basics of it.

This store is better for team purchases and bulk orders. Buying individual items can be a bit pricey.

The staff didn't seem very eager to have me there just browsing around. Kind of gave me an "if you're not going to buy something, please leave" feeling.

Unless you know what you want before you step through the door, I would not recommend shopping here.

Receiving a product as a gift purchased through the store. Went in for initial visit to fill out paperwork, was told I'd get a call, probably the next day, to come get it. 4 days later I walk in to inquire, was meet with snobbish reception and no apology for wasting my time. Apparently you have to be a regular to get common courtesy. Not the only business in downtown Belleville where I've received extremely poor customer service. And they wonder why no one wants to shop local.

I've always been greeted at the door and asked if I needed help finding anything. Purchased several items last visit (ball glove, bat, batting gloves, shoes) but couldn't find a pitching rubber. They had none on the shelf, but the guy came up with one from the warehouse in back---choice of two sizes--so if you don't see what you want, just ask and they probably have it. BTW, great baseball glove selection; bats, too.
