I was so excited to find this hidden gem. The first few times I took shoes/boots for repairs and/or cleaning I was beyond super happy with results. Unfortunately, the last 3 times I was extremely disappointed. Its almost like a bait and switch, I kept coming back so the effort did not have to be the same and the results were like night and day.
I have a 3 strikes and you’re out policy. I tried to express my disappointment to the young lady who assisted me the last 3 times and she seemed disinterested in hearing me which translated to retaining me as a customer was not important therefore, Saturday 11.2.24 was my last visit. The young man who assisted me previously heard me expressing my concern with a pair of shoes being picked up and he acted like I was not complaining and made no effort to intervene. I was offered a partial refund for cleaning my Chanel rain boots picked up the week prior that were so bad I can’t wear anymore. I requested they tell me up front if cleaning/repairs is possible or not versus agreeing to clean/repair and results worse than condition of items when brought in. I also believe in paying whatever price is charged as a way of showing respect for one’s craft. In other words, I never questioned prices. Imagine my further disappointment when I witnessed price variances for the same work simply by talking up the owner.
I should have waited to tell others because I now have to go back on my word and notify my friends and family to disregard my recommendation. I would upload photos but I only have the after not the before which I did not think was necessary. I am as disappointed in the end at the same level my excitement was in the beginning.

The service of this shoe repair is beyond extraordinary! They are MAGIC on anything I have repaired there. From repairing designer bags and all leather goods, he is exceptional! I would pay whatever for the quality of his work!

My first experience at Imperial and I’m so glad I chose to bring my leather goods here while I was visiting the Chicago area. I had a pair of Prada wedges that were falling apart i wore them so much and an LV epi to be repainted and relined. Both came back beautiful! I will be using their services again in the future. Excellent job and they shipped back my items to me in another state in less than 3 weeks as promised. Price was fair and even less than what a few “big name” companies quoted me. I plan to bring them several more pieces to repair. Thank you Imperial!

Came here several times to fix shoes heels and toes, and add sole protectors for new shoes. Imperial always delivers excellent services that exceed your expectations. I have several heavily worn boots and sneakers, which they restore them and make them look like new ones. For the white sneakers, they even paint the back of the heels to make it match the factory design. What is more, every pair of shoes is cleaned and polished after the service. Very satisfied with their work and recommend to everyone!

Amazing professional service and experience! I brought in some boots which had been pretty badly scuffed up from a fall and they made them look as good as new (see before and after in pics). I also love their custom sole protectors especially for my heels. You can tell they're pros and they put so much care into my shoes, like polishing them up and fixing scratches and such.
