I went here right when they opened on 01/31/2025 looking for a specific set of boots. This was the first time I had been into their store so I had no expectations. It was clean with great displays that made it very easy to find exactly the boot I was looking for. Never having worn Red Wing boots before they recommended that we use the special 3d scanner to help figure out exactly what size and what insoles should work which was very cool and did a great job helping size my irregular feet.

The boots that I came in for felt wrong from the first step but after explaining what I would be using them for and the specific features I wanted they had several more boots for me to try on and I was able to get a pair that are exactly what I wanted.

Megan, who helped me, was professional, polite, and extremely knowledgeable about everything and far more than someone there to take payments.

If I could give more stars I would.

Just stopped in today 01/05/2025 shortly before closing ready to spend some good money on good boots. Before we could say what we were looking for the "salesman" told us that they were just about to close and didn't seem to even want to sell us anything. After trying on a boot we just didn't feel welcomed so said we might stop back and also inquired if there was another Red Wing store in town, being that, at that point we really didn't feel like giving them our business. After trying on a boot the "salesman" told us their hours and that they close on time as well. I'm a business owner myself and I never, nor would I ever tell an incoming guest 1: that we were closing soon and 2: would never ever, ever tell a guest that I close "on time' and if I found out that any of my employees treated my guest like I was treated today, they would be unemployed. To the franchise owner there, I suggest you get your house in order because your employees are losing you money.

I have been purchasing redwing boots from the redwing store in Fort Wayne for over ten years. So I am disappointed to have to leave a one star review. One of my employees purchased a pair of boots from the redwing store on coliseum and after about 6 months the boots started to fail. I had always had redwing stand behind their products in the past, so I encouraged him to take them in to be replaced. Keep in mind he spent over $300 dollars on these boots and we are electricians which means we walk a lot but we are not jumping on shovels or working in concrete all day every day. Long story short we received terrible customer service. We were told “they are supposed to do that”. By Megan the manager of the store. I have worn work boots 16ish hours a day for the past 12 years. (Almost all redwings) That is not what you should expect after 6 months in a $300+ pair of work boots. I can get over a product failing, but a company not standing behind their products or attempting to make sure the customer is taken care of is unacceptable. I will not purchase from the redwing store again unless they stand behind their products and take care of their regular customers.

I bought pull on boots (think cowboy boots) for work, after a few days of wearing them they just felt to big, after a phone call they exchanged them for a smaller size even though i had thrown the box away and didn't bring in the receipt because i turned it in at work, they were very professional about it. They have a 30 day guarantee and honored it even though they were a little scuffed and slightly dirty. Overall it was a positive experience.

It was cool to be able to go in. Get my feet measured, and do a walk test to see how I walk to try to find the best boot for me. But as we all know, it takes a week or 2 to break them in, if I remember I might give an update on how satisfied I truly am then!

Quite literally wore a pair of Irish Setters from my house to my car, began driving in them, realized I didn't like them, turned around, and went back from my car to my house to change my boots and re-begin my journey to work. Apparently walking 50 feet total in my boots was enough to consider them "too worn" to exchange. Absolutely ridiculous that they'd do this to someone who has worn Red Wing boots the last 5ish years. Waste of around $250 on my end. Definitely going to be finding a new brand of boot to wear going forward.

I just want to really emphasize that I literally wore the boots for longer inside of their store than I did outside of their store. If my boots were too worn to return, then they were already too worn to sell to me in the first place.
