I've always taken the drive here because the service here is fast and efficient compared to the one in Reseda. The folks here make small talk and are very helpful with questions in every department.

If I could give a place ZERO stars, I would!! This place is RIDICULOUS. My husband and I, unfortunately, purchased our first gun here. We're experienced, but this was our first gun purchase.
So we put our down payment and when we returned with our paperwork, the fun games began. We live in Frazier Park, a rural community above Santa Clarita where the residents are forced to receive their mail at a post office box.
Turner's, however, told us we could not use our PO Box, even with a California REAL ID (Which establishes residency) to establish residency.
So, we made another trip and brought our lease and a utility bill. Nope, not good enough!! They told us to print out my driving record at DMV because that will show both addresses (who knew) We made ANOTHER trip to Santa Clarita to print out my DMV record, which Turner's also declined as proof of residency, saying it expired. It did not have an expiration date (just printed day of) and it showed both addresses and said we had lived there since 2020.
Turner's told that us the solution to our problem was to go to Big 5 and purchase a $60 hunting license because they don't verify your address for THAT. LMFAO! They should have told us that before we put down our non refundable deposit of nearly $200 (or we would've already canceled it)
At BIG 5 right now. The guy laughed pretty good and asked if I needed it for my gun purchase at Turner's. What a scam! Even the Big 5 employee (who used to sell guns thru Big5) said that's unnecessary and RIDICULOUS.
I've contacted other local gun stores they all just kinda laugh that Turner's is giving us that run around and I'm trying to warn you, other potential customers.
They were very rude and unprofessional and obviously uneducated. I've since read some horrible reviews and heard some nightmare stories about Turner's.
Not done yet, going to contact corporate with my deep concerns about how difficult they are making it to purchase a firearm! AND we will be purchasing our ammo and future guns somewhere else!! We'll NEVER shop here again!!

Suggestion for management- have a line or two dedicated for people who know exactly what they want so they can get in and out quickly. No questions, no “can I see…”, just simple order taking and the exchanging of goods for money, which is how your store generates revenue and keeps the lights on. Have another line or two for those who are “shopping” and take up an hour or more of the staff members time, pulling down every gun in the store, asking irrelevant questions, and making small talk, while those of us in line start searching on our phones for other places where we can buy the stuff we stepped into your store to purchase.

Now for the review… Great selection of firearms and accessories but clear out your schedule for the rest of the day if you plan on purchasing anything behind the counter. I waited in line for almost a hour before I had to leave, no exaggeration. 3 of the 4 customers who were at the counter when I got there were still at the counter when I left. The line had grown to about 7 or 8 people deep and the lack of urgency from the staff was pretty off putting. It’s great that you want to provide good service to the customer in front of you, but when you see a line building up, try to speed things up even just a little bit. It shows those of us who are waiting that you appreciate and value our business as well.

Based on this experience, I went to another store to make my purchase the following day and was in and out in half the time that I spent standing in line at Turners. With that said, I’ll most likely give them another chance in the future, but if the experience repeats itself, I won’t ever waste my time there again.

Hey there recently bought a Les Baer premier 2 from these guys in Santa Clarita and they charged me 3 times for the dros fees also very unprofessional service here, immature staff and unknowledgeable I’m also a veteran. No respect here either for vets. They messed up my paperwork as well. Never going back here again.

Most of these guys are just rude. Anytime I've gone in, they make you feel rushed, give you short answers and don't even try to help. When you call in for questions, they are even ruder. Whoever the owner is, you should probably either replace most of your employees or train them to be grateful for the job they have. There are many others looking for jobs who would be humble enough to help customers. As of now, I will not be doing any business here.
