I tried calling your location at Downtown Orlando multiple times. The first few attempts went unanswered. When I finally got someone on the phone, she answered the phone with a rude tone and was unhelpful. She seemed to be bothered by my call instead of seeing the potential of a new patient and added business.

I called back with additional information and the phone was picked up and hung up continuously. After that it was sent to answering service for the next couple hours I tried to communicate.

I then proceeded to go in person to get the information I was seeking and stepped into a very unwelcoming environment. The ladies at the front desk were already being un polite to a patient that was at the window. I tried to get their attention by saying "Good Afternoon " but they both completely ignored me. One of them even looked up at me and then turn away as if I wasn't even there. It wasn't until another patient walked trying to get their attention that they finally asked me what I was there for. Their actions created a very uncomfortable moment for both of us as patients since it was clear that they were now ignoring the other patient.

They were rude during our conversation. My children and I stepped out of your location in disbelief. We have never received such an abrasive service at any medical facility we have attended.

This is so sad. While we were there a disable child walked in with his mom who received the same below average service. Most of these parents and patients are already facing and living difficult times. They do not need this cold service.

I can imagine how different it would be if you either hired professional caring staff or requested the staff to be more professional. They don't have to be caring if they don't want to but it almost seems like they go out of their way to give a difficult time.

I am a current Operations Manager and have managed many other organizations and will never allow for any staff member to mistreat or be rude to our clients and neither the clients to mistreat our staff. There's always a way to keep a balance.

I hope one day your company can find balance and do better. This is beyond sad.

The customer service at this place is terrible and they bait and switch on pricing. It’s been a week of playing phone tag with them. They don’t even pickup the phone during normal business hours. They send calls to their answering service throughout the entire day. They told me over the phone that my son’s pectus brace would be $300 self pay and insurance doesn’t cover it. Fine, that sounded good because the other place in town (ABC) quoted me $400. I thought I’d be saving a $100. After the fitting appointment, they call and tell me it’s $490, and when I tell them the front desk told me $300 over the phone, they said they shouldn’t have quoted me a price, they’re not trained to tell people pricing and they don’t have that information. I guess I should’ve gone with the place the doctor recommended after all.

Megan Sech is the absolute best. I’m sorry it took so long to tell you how amazing my experience was with her at the Hangar Clinic in downtown Orlando.

If someone recommends you to go there to get fitted for prosthetics—don’t hesitate.

The office is warm, welcoming and super clean. They decorated for the holiday (Halloween at the time.)

Megan Sech herself was fast, professional, and extremely funny. She shared with me and my family a lot of interesting knowledge and insight in a very short time. 10/10

The service levels provided by Megan are truly second to none. We have visited Hanger Clinic multiple times over the past year, consistently receiving great service. But our visit last week was literally above and beyond, and has prompted this review.
We went in to get an updated brace for my son but after measuring him, Megan determined it wasn't yet necessary and she would see us in 6 more months. Still, even without needing a new brace, she offered to cast my son as he hadn't previously experienced it and he was curious. After spending about an hour with her, she walked us out. I tried stopping at the desk to pay, and that's when she informed me she is only paid when devices are ordered. Everything she had done (supplies, etc) was complimentary and on her own time! She didn't have to do that, but this is just another example of her truly caring.
Hanger Clinic isn't the most convenient place to our home, but seeing Megan is well worth the hour drive.

In my opinion this downtown Hanger Clinic is the best place to go for all of your prosthetic and orthotic needs. The entire staff was so kind, helpful and accommodating!
Ivanice was so patient gentle and kind to my 90 year old mom. She fitted her with a new Sarmiento brace and then adjusted it a few days later for comfort, finding time to fit us in before her next appointment. She shows a passion for her work and her patients and treats them with compassion. I’m so happy to have found this place!
