I visited CA Ski Company for the first time today and was totally blown away by the operation and Greg, the owner. I’m a newish skier and went in wanting ski boots but knowing very little about what I was looking for. Greg was so kind and generous with his time, and made me feel like he was looking out for both my safety and my experience on the mountain.

I ended up leaving with a pair of deeply discounted boots which felt perfect for my feet, skill level, and budget. Because I told him I was new to the equipment, Greg gave me some really helpful pointers on how the boots should feel, how to take care of them, etc. On top of that, he was a pleasure to chat with while my boots were being fitted. 10/10 would recommend!

Great staff and had immediate service. Staff were very experienced and fixed my boot ferment in less than 45min. Needed both boots punched out on left and right sides. Would recommend to all my friends for backcountry touring boot modifications

Great experience getting boots and skis here! I highly recommend Paul Wescott - he was incredibly patient throughout the entire process and very helpful as I described which parts of different boots felt good or bad during the fitting. The boots we selected and molded felt so much better than rental boots I used to get.

GAME CHANGER!! I never understood how people could stand to ski all day and several days or weeks at a time until I got my custom boot fitting from California Ski Company. I’ve never had a ski boot feel (dare I say) comfortable as I have thick calves and wide feet. Now I can ski all day and there’s no pain!

The fitting was pretty pleasant and took 1.5-2 hours. They created insoles for feet and measured my calves so they could adjust and fit the boot to my legs. I forget the gentleman’s name who helped me, but he was very nice and we had nice conversations about our favorite ski resorts and our love of big eye tuna. All in all, a great experience and an absolute game changer on the slopes. Highly recommend!

if you care for any style, they certainly don’t. They put the wrong color of binding for my skin which I carefully picked to match my ski and outfit!! and don’t feel that is a big deal.
