I needed Dr prescribed shoes. The nice young lady there was very helpful. She new exactly what I wanted. Even though she got the right shoe the first time she still took the time to find me options to try. And they gave me a discount whe I told her my foot Dr referred me. I love my shoe's!

I paid a visit to 42 degrees today due to the unexpected cold front that moved in looking for a good pair of warm winter gloves I found way more than I was looking for due to a huge variety of winter gloves, I ended up going with the gore tex winter gloves as I have heard good things about gortex. love the hokas I have purchased also and will continue to buy more. I also wanted to let the owners know the employee who rang me up also for what I purchased was very kind, courteous, polite and very professional. she may have had dark hair but I'm not really sure but please let her know from a happy customer that she provided a great shopping experience for me in the store.

The first couple of times that I went to this store, the staff was helpful. The last two times that I've gone in, they've been almost rude. The store has good, quality products. I'll keep shopping there, but would be nice if they could pair their products with consistently good service.

I'm not one to write reviews, but 42 Degrees North deserves one. I simply would not buy shoes anywhere else. Their customer service is above and beyond what I ever could have expected. They know who I am when I walk in the store, and remember what I like. The staff is extremely knowledgable and great at making recommendations to help find the perfect product to fit your needs. They stand behind what they sell. When the tread started coming off my Altras three months after purchase, they replaced them, even though it was well beyond their 30 day return period. That's just another perk; they want you to love what you buy and give you 30 days to use it to make sure you do. Hands down, 42 Degrees North is the best outdoor gear store around. If you haven't checked them out, you don't know what you are missing.
