I recently had the pleasure of getting fitted for a ski boot, and I can't say enough about how thorough and attentive the experience was! From the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted by a knowledgeable team that truly understood the importance of a perfect fit for a successful day on the slopes.

They meticulously measured my feet, taking into account not just the length but also the width and arch. They used specialized tools to assess my foot shape, which helped them recommend a range of boots that would suit me best. I appreciated how they explained the differences between various models and brands, ensuring I was informed about my options.

Overall, I highly recommend getting fitted for ski boots at this shop. The thoroughness of the fitting process and the dedication of the staff made it an enjoyable and informative experience. I can’t wait to hit the slopes with my new boots, knowing they were tailored just for me!

Came in to get a ski boot fit and was helped by Elvis. One of the best, most informative boot fitting sessions I have ever seen or been a part of. Elvis explained his thought process exactly with what boots he was choosing and maintained complete transparency and honesty the whole time.

I genuinely felt that he was not going to sell me a boot just to sell me a boot. He only cared about finding the perfect boot for me, and if that boot was not found, he would have not sold me anything.

For as long as I'm in the area, I'm not going anywhere else for my skiing needs.

Dylan and Elvis are GREAT! I will never again buy ski boots from anyone else, I should have come here in the first place. They care about doing what’s best for the customer, even if that means not getting the sale. They are endlessly knowledgeable and helpful. Daryl and his crew were AMAZING they were so helpful. I am 12 years old and I went to a thrift store and found a great K2 2019 pair of ski’s and bought them with my on money and took them to OC Snowsports for a tune up. the normal cost of the major tune up is 75$ and I only had 41$ because I spent the rest of it on ski’s but he TOOK IT!!. So now my brother will have a great Christmas gift huge shoutout to them ?

I came here all the way from San Francisco… and it was worth it!

I just finished a 3-day ski trip at Mammoth and was so grateful I got fitted by Elvis for new ski boots beforehand! I was having trouble finding ski boots that fit my short stature & wide feet, and struggled to find ski boots fitting appointments in the Bay Area. And, while I was in SoCal visiting my family, I came across OC Snowsports on Google and decided to drop by! I appreciated that this place took walk-ins and was willing to accept me as a customer so late in the afternoon (~4pm) given the process can take up to 2 hours. Also, they were very transparent about the price range of their boots as well as the custom footbeds to make sure that I was aware of the cost expectation before wasting both my time and the staff’s time.

Elvis and Daryl were super friendly and conversational, which adds to the positive experience of a 2 hour boot fitting. Elvis has been fitting boots since he was in his teens and his knowledge and experience really showed. Not only did he manage to find a pair of boots that fit me on his first try, but also gave me alternatives just to feel the difference. He told me what to feel for when trying on the boots, and he also gave me do’s/don’ts that I didn’t know of before!

When coming to OC Snowsports, you really should be coming to this store with the intention of buying something or getting your boots fitted. Don’t take advantage of them!! They offer really good selection of snow gear and equipment, plus a service that you can’t find anywhere else nearby… I would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and would not hesitate to come back next time I’m in the area and need more snow gear!

I purchased my ski boots from OC Snowsports in November. After years of skiing with rentals and hand-me-downs, I decided it was time I invest in my very own pair. Let me just say, boot fitting isn't the easiest. New ski boots are tight! Especially since the pair I had been skiing in before were too large. The guys at OC Snowsports spent hours with me, teaching me about boot types, how they should fit, and getting me in the right pair that was suitable for my ability. After an adjustment in the toe box, I am over the moon and beyond happy with my new Dalbello boots! I have never had a bigger smile skiing down Ambush, one of my favorite runs in Big Sky. Smiling ear to ear! I'm still breaking them in, but I am in LOVE! It is a night and day difference skiing in boots that fit right and I am so thankful for Elvis and Daryl who spent so much time with me.

I came back in January and purchased new skis from OC Snowsports as well. Another great experience of learning about different ski types and eventually finding a pair that I absolutely love.

I am so happy with my new ski gear and look forward to all the runs they'll take me down!

Is it possible to give less than 1 star The man behind the counter completely ignored my daughter and me as he laughed and joked with another man. When I finally interrupted him to ask a question about a snow boot, his only response was “if it doesn’t fit her I won’t take them back”. My mouth dropped since he hadn’t even helped us with the boots or asked her size. My response was, “cant’t she just try them on here to see if they fit?”. He replied, “she’s here with you?”. My daughter was standing right next to me!!!! He was nice to the men in the store but was so incredibly condescending, rude and arrogant to my daughter and myself!! We had a a ski jacket and goggles in our arms to purchase, but instead left everything on his counter and left. We went to REI and bought the same jacket and goggles for less money and polite service!

Awesome shop. Danny was SO great; fitted me for boots and was very patient and insightful. Get him to fit you!! Elvis and Noah are incredible - Definitely know what they’re talking about in regards to skis and the needs of differing levels of skiers. Owner of the shop, Darryl, is outstanding. He is a great guy and really knows what he’s talking about. He recommends only the best for his customers. Not many stores like this in OC, highly recommend.
