I went in with my family to get a number of items for a few of us. I was extremely impressed with the way the staff helped each of us, they were all super friendly and helped my older son warm up to some new styles. I will absolutely go back to Surfside - clearly the owners know how to hire the right type of people, many of whom it's likely their first job. So refreshing to go somewhere which feels locally owned and operated.

First off, PJ is the nicest and most helpful dude ever!! 10/10 recommend! Hahah. Came here since they were one of the only shops left that had the Jones Twin Sister snowboard in my size, that I’ve been eyeing for some time. Thank you PJ for taking the time to give me advice for my first snowboard purchase! He was super patient with me and gave great recommendations on bindings as well. Did not feel rushed or pressured to make such a big purchase right then and there, but I knew it was time to upgrade the board I had been using this season.

Ended up going with the Jones Twin Sister and Union Juliet bindings, which not only looked so good together, but did so well on the slopes the next day! The board felt sooo nice, had really good edge control, and was super fun to carve with. Didn’t feel catchy and was such a stable ride, even at high speeds. Sucha blast going through trees too! Overall, superrrr happy with this board and got so many compliments on the set up too!! Bindings were sturdy and secure, but also very comfortable and easy to strap in and out.

PJ was so kind and set everything up for me before I left and even had me bring in my old board to make sure everything was lined up as I liked. Genuinely nice guy and awesome customer service. THANKS AGAIN PJ, YOU DA BEST!!! 🙂

absolutely love this spot but especially because one of the employees (i think her name was mel) was so helpful and kind to me looking for gear as a beginner! also, after she was off she actually saved me from getting run into by a truck that was pulling out... thats what i get for being on my phone in the parking lot i guess!

I have have purchased a lot gear here, great help in the winter department. My only place for tuning and repairs on my boards. They have always hooked it up, until today.
I came in today for some sunglasses, as I was walking out some kid named “Tyler” accused me of stealing what I had just paid for. Tyler, you need to learn to think before you speak.

Great service! John helped me pick out a fashionable shirt in a timely matter, and was direct when having a conversation. I am by no means into clothing and am usually in a time crunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the salesmen’s ability to help me out. Great products. Great workers.
