The customer service is unmatched. We had some issues getting my husband a boot that fit well on both feet. Not only did they help us find the best boot, but they also were able to stretch out the boot that was a little tighter. They also recommended some of the best insoles I've ever seen. The insole maker is a SLO local, and the craftsmanship is remarkable

Great experience!! I needed a few holes added to my YSL camera bag and they did such an amazing job. My bag looks as if I bought it like that and you cant even tell holes were added. Very professional staff who know what they are doing. But overall they were so kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

Their cobbler does a great job re-soling boots. They also restored the leather and now they look brand new. Highly recommend them for new work boots + repairs!

Shout out to the team at Takken’s Shoes! They worked with me for over an hour finding me shoes that fit and don’t hurt. Then they added some adjustments to make them even better. I am blessed with “unusually” narrow feet and no one has ever been so helpful. Thank you!

I have only great things to say about this shoe store. Great selection and the people working there are so helpful and fun!
Taneal-gosh I didn’t butcher her name was awesome and took care of me as if I was a friend. My husband loved his sandals!
Also another employee was having a small issue with a customer that you could not appease if you brought the heavens down to her! But, he handled it with professionalism and the patience of a saint! Cheers.
Overall I love this place and will be back to buy more shoes soon!

The fact that I could get my favorite boots repair was amazing. The fact that there was free parking made it so nice. And much to my surprise, they have really great selection of workboots and dress boots at incredibly reasonable prices. From now on it will be my favorite place to buy boots.

I will make this short and sweet. They ruined my Birkenstocks - a model that is discontinued. If your Birkenstocks are not replaceable, I advise you find some where else to take them for repair. Unfortunately SLO doesn't have an authorized Birkenstock repair shop anymore, but you are better off shipping them out of the area to someone authorized.
