Wonderful walk to a beach. The beach has beautiful cliff patterns, soft sand and pretty pebbles. The walk is pretty short and flat, and very beautiful.

Nice easy trail that’s family friendly. About 3.5 miles round trip and little elevation that even someone with a bad back could do. Bathrooms at the parking lot and halfway thru the trail . Plenty of parking and plenty of space to relax at the beach . Highly recommend to all!!

This is a moderate semi-paved trail three miles through the valley to a spectacular little beach.

You can walk or cycle and pushing a stroller or wheeling a cart is doable.

Lot gets very full on weekends, and parking can stretch for half a mile or more down the road.

Sacramento Women's Hiking and Adventures Group ladies enjoyed another beautiful day in the sunshine ? some ladies did Pirates Cove via Tennessee Valley and some of us did Tennessee Valley to the Tennessee Beach and overlook. I hiked about 4 miles, tho AllTrails didn't track it properly due to the phone in my bra ? met a super nice and sexy park ranger on his motorcycle. Vroom Vroom Saw lots of dogs, but no coyotes!

So I use this trailhead for access to the beach and the surrounding trails (and they are all awesome) but I also just wanted to note that it's a great spot to hang out even if you aren't going for a long hike. I brought my family here and we meandered around and simply enjoyed the quiet morning and the rising sun. There are restrooms and picnic tables, there is shade as well!

I am a Marin family photographer and this is a location that I often suggest for photo sessions!
