Friendly staff, just want to give you a word of caution. A few months back, purchased a pair of dress shoes, mind you they were costly. After wearing a few times, the rubber sole is shredding (see pictures). Careful buying NAOT brand.
Comfort is great, only issue is poor quality rubber sole.

Oh my god we just had a 100 star experience with Gabby who helped my mom’s feet in a way no podiatrist even realized was necessary!! instead of selling my mom an entire new pair of shoes for her arthritic painful feet, she upgraded her current shoes with impeccable knowledge and kindness and downright love. a pair of new arches and elastic laces later, my mom is smiling from ear to ear not to be in pain anymore, thank you gabby for your medical wisdom, generosity and huge heart! we are so grateful!!!

This is the first review I have written but believe that it is necessary because I feel that the service I received was so horrible. My husband bought me shoes for my birthday and gifted them to me on Friday the 21st. I came in to exchange them on the 23rd and was treated very poorly. The manager accused me of them being worn. The only time I put them on was Friday night on the rug when I tried them on. I never wore them around the house or out: The person who sold them to my husband in March (Luis) had written on the receipt that I had until the end of April to exchange them since my husband was hiding them to surprise me for my birthday. When I walked into the store with my daughter, the manager was extremely rude and said that I had worn them. She said i would need to take them to a shoe repair in order for them to accept them back. I explained that I never did wear them, as i just got them 2 days ago! She then said she wouldn’t let me try on any shoes (I had three in my hand to try on) because they were closing (I was there at 4:17 and the store closed at 5:00). A customer had walked in after me and they helped her try on her selection. She said that she had a family to go home to and to be respectful of that (as if I didn’t have a family to go home to?) she was dismissive and it felt very demeaning. It was shocking: after reading more reviews on yelp, I see that the treatment is not uncommon. The manager of this store is not mindful of the concept of kindness. My husband received the same treatment today when he tried to talk to the salesperson that originally sold him the shoes. Extremely rude and condescending behavior. Don’t shop here unless you plan to never return your shoes. Even though they say you can return items, it’s a lie. Beware of horrible customer service.

I bought a pair of sandals for $80 and they broke in two weeks. When I came back to the store to find out more about the shoe company’s exchange or return policy, I was offered absolutely no options, information or help. I was rudely turned away. They clearly don’t care about the quality of the products they sell and don’t care to help if anyone has any issues or questions about their products. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I love this store. I also support the brick and mortar stores - buy your shoes here. The shoes I have purchased from Lucha have lasted for years and if I hold on to them they'll come back in style. Also, they told me how to get my sandals resoled. Love this place.

I needed traveling shoes as I was going to Peru despite just haven gotten foot surgery. Gabby knew which shoes were wide and soft enough and would help me walk without pain. One specialty shoe she showed me were for diabetics, AND they were cute! She listened to my problem and what I wanted and needed and showed me many solutions. She personally and gently and without any sales pressure showed me many choices for my hurt foot. Luchas has some gorgeous European comfortable footwear for hard to fit feet. Love them! You will certainly find unique and comfortable shoes!

7/17/20 I waited in the parking lot for Lucha's Shoe store to open. I had planned on buying at least 3 pairs of sandals. Every sandal I liked they did not have my size. I even asked if I could special order 2 different styles and the salesperson said 'you cannot special order any style as all special orders have been stopped'. He said you have to pay for any special order, I said fine. Then he would not special order any style?
I have lived in South Pasadena for many years, in fact I grew up there. I even have an account at Lucha's.
I started to leave the store, but needed to use the bathroom. I noticed the toilet paper was low and asked for more toilet paper. After a few minutes he came to me and said 'we have no toilet paper and handed me paper towels! I made do with the toilet paper and left the bathroom.
In short, the service was very bad and had planned on buying 3 pairs of shoes, unsuccessfully.
