Great hike! It’s very flat, only 120 ft of elevation gain. But it is long. Other people said 10 miles, but if you go all the way to the creek at the end (highly worth it) it is 6 miles in, and 6 miles out. So bring lots of water, sunscreen, and bug spray. The views are nice and the path is well maintained.

Absolutely beautiful! It's a 1860s logging railroad trail. No steep inclines. Level and gorgeous. Lots of trail markers and info.
Watch out for poison oak but trail is wide abd groomed well. Lots of burrs tho.
10 miles round trip. There is a Riverside trail down to the south-fork of the river that is steep. But it's a choice, not part of the main trail.

Fabulous place to hike. Easy to get to. Nice flat, clean, and well maintained trail for hikers and equestrians. Gorgeous views. It's almost 10 miles out and back (5 miles each way). Picnic tables along the way. No restrooms. I'll be going back!

Beautiful wild flowers along the trail. Not sure if I reached the end of not. Some stretches were a bit hard on my bike, and there was a lot of poison oak that I really hope my dog and I did not come into contact with - it was hard to avoid. Nice day out. Tired out me and my Jack Russell, which is hard to do. The only reason for taking away a star was that the road is visible from much of the the trail, which kept me from really feeling I was in the wilderness. Good signage explaining the logging and railway back in the day.

Level trail gentle on the knees and suitable during the cooler months. Can get quite hot in warm weather. There are several benches overlooking the great views of the hills and the river. Good for dogs and kids. Bring a water bottle; there's a water fountain near the trailhead where you can fill it up. You may also need sunscreen and a hat, most of the trail is not shaded.
