My girlfriend and I visited first time to see if they had union bindings for a last minute gift. One of the workers approached us and asked if we needed help. Apparently we were online shopping looking at last years model of bindings. The worker went to the back to bring options (displayed white or black). Next thing you know he pulls out exactly what we were looking for and he was so excited to see our reactions. On TOP of that, he threw us a discount. What an amazing first impression by this shop. Will definitely be coming back next time for either a rental or board. Definitely made our day.

P.S. Friendly and knowledgeable employees, they carry snow clothes, goggles, skis, snowboards, bindings, anything you name it. They even do rentals at an affordable cost and build it for you. Worker mentioned everything they ride is what they sell in the shop.

For around 4 years now we have been renting at Sunsports as well as getting gear and we haven't been anywhere else since. The staff is more than happy to answer any questions and when trying on gear they want to make sure that it fits right. The rental ski's and boots are in very nice condition and the owner is often patrolling the shop if needed. I would highly recommend Sunsports because they care.

We were looking for skis and boots and couldn't find anything in Sonora so after we searched for a ski place, we came upon Sun Sport. We had never been to Turlock and wasn't really sure about this trip but the reviews were amazing so ventured out. I am so glad we did and so glad that we listened to the viewers. The service was amazing and we were able to to have the bindings put on while we waited. The price was great and the store was packed full of happy people. Sun Sports sells or rents all ski equipment and I highly recommend this place!!!

Great customer service and attention to detail, and a great place to visit. I dropped some cash here early this ski season to get set up and I am glad I did. After several ski outings I needed to get my boots re-fit, and Dennis checked my feet again and re-molded the boot for me, no charge since I bought them there. Highly recommend for anyone from at least Madera to Modesto as the first place you should go to get set up for skiing or boarding.

Shopping around for snowboard gear decided to stop here because of reviews. When we entered the shop all the staff was standing at the front chatting, which I had no problem with, the problem I had was that then all eyes were on my sibling and I. We didn’t even get 5 minutes to mosey around and check out the gear they had and what we might need, when one of the staff approached us and asked us what we were looking for, again not what I had a problem with but they manner in which he approached us made us feel extremely uncomfortable almost as if they were watching us to make sure we weren’t stealing or something. My brother felt embarrassed and let them measure his boot size but ultimately decided won’t be making a purchase from a shop that makes their customers this uncomfortable.
