A long time resident of Boulder that has recently transplanted to Jackson Hole WY. My wife and I wanted to buy a new pair of classic cross country skiis that are faster. We searched the local shops here in Jackson Hole and it was going to take two weeks to get them in.
In Boulder we always shopped at BNS for all our Nordic gear.

I went to the BNS website and picked two pair of Madshus nano Sonic's for my wife and I - weight and height. A few minutes later BNS staff called me and said their in stock and I will get them in three days!

Excellent service and response time from staff. I highly recommend BNS for all your cross country skiing needs!

These skiis are twice as fast as our old classic skis. Skate skiers have to work real hard to pass us! We have been out 38 times this season in Teton National Park.

BNS is the best reviewed nordic sport store for good reason! I went in twice over the past week to make decisions on my first set of classic cross-country skis. I worked with Sam, who was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable throughout the process. He patiently spent quite a bit of time with me at both visits, and he helped me select a fantastic set of gear tailored to my skill level, height/weight, etc. Highly recommend BNS!

I didn't actually buy anything thanks to the help I received saving me at least $300. I believe it was Nathan who helped me when I went in seeking new bindings for some used roller skis I previously purchased. I initially called seeking boots for the bindings the roller skis came with but was told that they are no longer made. Based on that, I went to get some new bindings compatible with available NNN boots. After some discussion including what cross country boots and bindings I have on my skis, Nathan told me he was sure that my boots would fit in the current roller ski bindings. I thought that I had tried them when I initially got the skis and they didn't work, but on trying them after our conversation, they did indeed fit. Nathan could easily have left that encounter with a little more money in his till but instead took some time to best help me. I'll be back when in need for nordic equipment in the future.

After 25 years of not skiing groomed Nordic trails I have decided to start again. The guys at Boulder Nordic are awesome and have the expertise and selection to fit out an older slow mover like me, or a 19 year old racer. Shopping there was a very comfortable experience as they answered all of my questions, advised me about the options, both cheaper and more expensive, and discussed with me in detail what I was getting in my price range, what I wouldn't get for less, and what I wasn't getting that was a couple hundred bucks more. Their selection of boots was even more appreciated as I have weird feet and it took four different boots before I found some that were comfortable. All in all, an excellent shopping experience.
