If you're like me and want the best shoes for every condition nature can put in your path, but you're a little nervous about possibly spending too much money on a brand name that might not live up to the hype then go to the Arc'teryx Boulder Brand Store on Pearl Street in Boulder and ask to speak with Bree. Bree helped me find the perfect pair of shoes. I'm a very difficult consumer to please when purchasing clothing for the outdoors. She was very patient with my questions and concerns, helped me try on a couple of different sizes, asked important and probing questions, and really made me feel like l was making a worthwhile long-term investment and not just spending what to me is a lot of money on a pair of shoes that may or may not be worth the price-tag. I left the store feeling like if I were going to own only one pair of shoes, then it should definitely be a pair of black-on-black Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine GTX approach shoes.

Wow—what an unbelievable store! The staff here is incredible! My brother and I visited multiple times during our stay in Boulder, and each time we were greeted by the amazing team. Jess, Jenn, Sean (and others!) were all fantastic—so knowledgeable and passionate about the products they offer.

We kept coming back because they were so friendly and took the time to explain the features of their favorite pieces, which made our shopping experience truly enjoyable. A special shoutout to Jess for helping me select the best options for my needs (AR Beta with Stormhood!); her expertise and patience were invaluable!!!!!

The whole team embodies the spirit of exceptional customer service, making us feel welcome and appreciated. This will definitely be my first stop every time I visit Boulder in the future!

An exceptional experience!! I came in this morning looking for a jacket for the upcoming ski season, and Jess was wonderfully helpful! I told her what I was looking for, that I would be making purchases online, and she had well informed suggestions based on my preferences and terrain style. I typically hate when salespeople try to upsell, or pressure customers, and was so grateful that did not happen here. Amazing, kind, and knowledgeable staff!

I have the worst customer service experience I’ve never had in US. I was in the shop in past month like 3 times and these two hipster guys asking you if you need help and then totally ignore you and then they feel offended or annoyed that you actually need something? Oh God please, come on. I never wrote reviews for shops but this is like every time! When I buy something, I’m not even happy from my purchase cuz this is really bad impression from the whole store. I haven’t experienced anything like this at all pearl street.

1) To be honest, the level of knowledge about the gear and how/when to use it during the sale process was very limited for ski touring - I found much more knowledgeable and helpful staff at many other gear stores on Pearl. (If there were more knowledgeable staff, no one thought to bring them over to help)

2) The staff come across as only caring about you when they think you are about to spend money. I was treated quite differently from the staff before and after a return.

With so many other amazing gear stores on Pearl street (many local or family-owned) I am glad my recent purchase did not work out and will be taking future business elsewhere.

Excellent ReBird service. I use this store frequently for product repair and washing - services they offer for free. I have always been taken care of in a pleasant and professional manner - most recently by Chris who walked me through repair and warranty options for my beloved orange Alpha FL jacket. The store also often hosts community events including Q&As and presentations, which are important to have! A good addition to the Boulder outdoor community.

Great customer service and the store is always well organized and clean. We have done a few returns here as well and the staff is always quick and able to help. This location also provides laundry services for free for your Arc’teryx gear.

The in-store sales are pretty good too. I bought the insulated beta jacket for $600 and online it was $750.
