I recently visited Boulder BC Skate + Surf with high hopes, having done extensive research on the products I was interested in. As an advanced snowboarder with over 20 years of experience, I was looking forward to discussing gear and getting expert advice. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.

Upon entering the store, I encountered a staff member whose knowledge of snowboarding products seemed lacking. When I asked about specific gear, he provided incorrect information, which was disheartening given my background and expertise. Instead of engaging in a constructive conversation, I felt dismissed and treated rudely, as if my experience didn’t matter.

The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, and I felt as though I was being pushed out rather than assisted. It was disappointing to feel like my passion for the sport was not appreciated. Customer service is crucial in a specialty shop, and unfortunately, I did not receive it here.

I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Boulder BC Skate + Surf. With some improvements in customer service and product knowledge, they could enhance the shopping experience for all customers.

I came in for some new snowboard boots and John was super helpful. He helped me find a good pair that I was happy with and was super friendly along the way! Thanks, John!

This place had a great selection of skateboards and snowboards. Loved the luggage set. I think I may have to go back for it. Loved some of the clothing and sandals. Wished the two guys working were able to help us pick out a new skateboard deck. They were super busy having a conversation with each other. I am not sure they noticed us in the store.

Took my skateboard in for new tape, custom cut request done perfectly no extra charge. Great shop, great service. Solid brands. Happy to spend my money here!

Great shop however my daughter and I had to walk out empty-handed today because one of the two young men that were working there stopped dead in his tracks while walking over to help us.. A middle-aged man a few years older than myself walked in and I guess that he became number one priority. I was about to buy myself a new deck, Wheels, bearings and then scooped a full set up for my daughter. Ended up walking out and ordering my stuff online because I was so dumbfounded. Great selection, great brands.. Maybe I just caught the kid on a weird morning but we had waited over an hour for the shop to open and we were the only ones in there when that other customer walked in. When I choose to spend my money somewhere I expect to be appreciated.

Went to get new skateboard deck and parts today with my son. John was AMAZING! Knowledgeable, kind, fun and giving my son tips and advice. It was so nice to get great customer service! John is a super asset to the company. We are glad we went to BC!

Mitchell was awesome for helping set up a new board, the customer service was superb and amazing. My board is awesome and so are the trucks! Everyone was very informed on skateboarding and Mitchell even said 6 out of the 8 employees could tre-flip! That's how you know it's a good skate shop. They had awesome hardware and a great selection of spit fires and mini logo wheels. It's awesome and there and you need to definitely check it out!
