Fantastic local bike shop! You don’t find places like this anymore. The team here is quick, efficient, and truly dedicated to getting you back on your bike as fast as possible. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I came to town for the Tour de Vineyards. Noah and the team were amazing. I reserved a bike and when I arrived it was all ready for me. I then asked if I could try a different bike. Noah patiently helped ensure both bikes fit me, and I was comfort, explaining the details of the bikes. I rented one of them and loved the service and the bike enough to purchase it. Again the team provided outstanding service. They helped me choose the correct pedals. Thank you!!! I have a bike I love to ride. Can’t recommend them enough! Special thanks to Noah!

All staff members were super helpful and helped me problem solve a few head scratchers with my bike. They got my bike in and out in less than a hour and parts and service were reasonably priced. Arguably the best bike shop I’ve been in and I’ve been in a plethora of bike shops in my lifetime. I highly recommend Colorado Backcountry Biker. They will take good care of you!

The great folks at this shop saved my trip! I flew all the way out to Grand Junction / Fruita for a trip around the White Rim trail and in transit my by bike took a bit of damage. They were able to get me right in, figure out the issue (note to self: don't forget plastic spacers for the calipers when flying with a bike!) and get me on my way super quickly. And everyone was really friendly the whole time: offering advice for the trip, etc... Overall great experience!

Super friendly guys working there! Very understanding when I wanted to make a last-minute rental bike change because of size. Obviously, I was in luck they had it, but they were great about it. Well maintained bike rental made for a great day up on 18 road!

Colorado Back Country Bikes is incredible. Keith helped get me back on the Kokopelli Trail quickly after a rear hub failure in the middle of the ride. He took the extra time to provide a loaner rim that was compatible with my bike. Then reached out to DT Swiss on my behalf to get a discounted new hub. On Sunday evening stayed late so I could return the rim and settle up after completing the Kokopelli. 1st class service!
