Amazing experience at the rental section! The associate was super patient and understanding, and helped us to try as many bikes as we needed. He went above and beyond to ensure we have the bikes we'll be able to safely and comfortably ride all day! The drop off after the business hours was super easy too. Overall, this was my first time and it was an amazing experience! Great memories!

We didn't even buy or rent anything but the staff helped service our own bikes to make sure all 3 were ready for a long ride!
They aired up all tires & realigned the valves so they were easier to access for no charge ?

This place was so much fun. We had a group of guys rent e-bikes all day. The ladies working that day were super friendly and helpful. Made our experience top notch. I highly recommend the e bike rental. Super easy and you can cover a huge distance in no time. We will definitely be returning soon!

We moved here a few weeks ago and needed bikes for a kid struggling with a chronic disability. They let go of two used e-bikes early to help us out and it was the first physical activity my kid has been able to do that doesn't aggregate migraines. It was scary getting on a bike after over a decade but a week later, I'm riding every day. Couldn't be more grateful. I didn't want to invest in new bikes when I didn't know if they'd be used. If you want a more active life, this is a great place to start!

I purchased an Electra Ponto from Lewes Cycle about one year ago. Even though it was a bit more than I had intended to spend at the time, I'm glad I made the investment. I have been thoroughly enjoying the bike ever since. It's been used as my primary transportation in and around Dover, Smyrna and Middletown. Yes riding around correctly and safely, my battery last. However most important for me has been the service I have received whenever I have had any issues. Granted nothing is perfect. But after a couple minor issues I had with my rear tire,the team at Lewes Cycle addressed the problem efficiently and with clear communication without making me feel dumb about it. If anyone rides a standard bicycle or e-bike, This is the place where I would recommend. Even those who have purchased elsewhere, I still would strongly recommend Lewes Cycle for service. I rode the ferry over from Cape May just to pick up this bike. What i appreciated most was the amount of time that your staff spent with me on the phone discussing the bike prior to ordering, and how you were able to get it in and built quickly. I ordered on a Saturday, received a call on Thursday evening that the bike was ready to go, and picked up on Friday. What a great experience - I'll be back!

We rented two bikes from Lewes Cycle for the trip from Lewes to Rehoboth and back. The team there was so helpful. They responded right away to my inquiry, and rented the bicycles even though they were closed for the July 4 holiday. We thought we would need to walk to their shop from the ferry building, but they offered to leave the bikes locked for us to collect at the ferry terminal when we arrived. They even sent a picture of where the bikes were, and left helmets for us! They communicated well with us throughout the process I would highly recommend them! They made everything easy for us.
