First went here 9 years ago looking for good boots to hold up to the rigor of a 1st grader - not only did they hold up, but we've never gone anywhere else since!!! Excellent quality and fit. The owner is awesome and definitely knows her trade! Boots fit so well that other than some natural softening of the leather (no big deal) there's never been a break in period like most shoes and boots. It's rare in today's day and age that a store owner cares about you as a person, not just "another customer". Shop here - - you won't be disappointed!!

Website says closed on Saturday rode by the store where the store said open Saturday 9a-5p found a sign on the door saying to knock on the door next door so tried that and no answer! The inside pictures look nothing like what you could see from the windows. They should try updating their door sign or website so it’s not misleading and maybe get a phone number that works. Glad we’re from out of town and have plenty of other options

Seems to be a fair selection, but awful shopping experience. Door was locked when we arrived, although the open sigh was lit. Was browsing for boots, but owner wouldn't fit us unless we were serious about buying. After looking around for a bit, she said she's closing (three hours early) and ushered us out. Was wanting to buy local, but didn't feel welcome here.

The shop owner was incredibly sweet and helpful in finding my dad the right boots and the right size. She was so friendly and kind and even shared a bit of history with us about some historical shoes she had in the shop. I highly recommend going there!

Tried to stop in today, on a Saturday at 9 am to look at Cowboy boots. The door was locked. Although the sign said 9am open. So we left and I called. The Lady said she was next door. We were supposed to come to the building next door to get her to come and open the shop. ? Oh well!
We came back and knocked and she came out and said dont peck on my door, your supposed to ring the bell! So we left.

Found this place by accident while visiting family in the area. We stopped by a year later and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly we were treated during both visits. I'll be back next time I'm I'm town. Clean store, decent selection, fairly priced and very welcoming.

Shop had an open sign, but a note was left on the door saying to ring the house bell (separate from the store) if I NEED (underlined) something. Felt like I was intruding since it was lunch time. Just saying, the sign could have been more inviting for all business.
