First class experience! While visiting the Pensacola area, I found Running Wild purely by chance. So glad I did! Misty, one of the sales associates, easily spent 45 minutes watching me walk, scanning my feet (coolest device ever) and trying on different shoes. The brand I chose (Altra) I had never even heard of, but now I’m a convert after years of Hokas. Running Wild sets the bar for what a shoe buying experience should be. I’ll definitely be back!

April 2021 - Absolutely wonderful place to shop for running/walking shoes. Misty is excellent at sizing and fitting your shoes. Her suggestions were some of the best fitting walking shoes I have worn, maybe in forever. The color selection was great, and I do like my bright colors. Will definitely go again when I need new shoes.

Update April 2023 - Still coming here for my shoes. I will add that Hailey is also an excellent choice for helping you choose a great pair of shoes. She has helped me twice now, and she is one of the best.

Update July 2024. Still a great place for athletic shoes. Todd was my fit specialist this last purchase. Exceptional experience again!

Doesn't matter if you're a runner, a walker, a gym rat, or someone whose knees don't work as well as they once did — you'll get good help and good shoes here. (And workout gear. And socks. Oh, so many socks.) Love this story, love the people! They make Pensacola a better place to exercise.

My granny, my husband and I came by today and had such a good experience. My granny insisted we come with her, as this is her favorite store EVER, and I see why!

Todd M. helped us today. He was so kind and patient despite the fact that I am veryyyy picky about my running shoes. He didn’t make me feel rushed at all, listened to my needs/feedback, and was extremely thorough and just overall amazing.

My husband and I both left with new running shoes, new socks, and he got some insoles! I’m already excited to come back next time we’re in town! Thank you so much Todd @ Running Wild- you’re the best!

We have been working with the awesome folks at Running Wild for a while now and they are absolutely amazing (from the Owners to all of the staff!).

They really know their stuff when it comes to running, shoe and sock wear as well as other wearables when running.

Todd did an amazing job assessing my gait, finding just the right pair of shoes that both I wanted and I needed. He was also awesome to talk to, discuss running, and learn from!

Sydney and Rory were also there and brought a ton of energy to the store. It was just an amazing experience.

We highly recommend going if you need anything from running shoe wear to running advice!

This is a gem of a store with a fantastic staff and an amazing line of products. No matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned runner this is the place to go. Shout out to Todd for his great help on finding the right shoe that I keep coming back for!

Most, if not, all of the staff are runners, and they all know the shoes they carry. They will carefully measure your feet and listen to your needs, and suggest two or three models and brands for you to try. If those aren’t to your liking, they’ll gladly bring out a few more.
If you use custom orthotics you can easily remove the stock foam insert and use your own. There is plenty of room to accommodate mine. You will end up paying more than at places like shoe station, but it’s worth it because you’ll end up with a product that will last, properly fit, and not risk injuring your feet.
