Closed. Wasted a drive out. The hotel in which this is located, will also tell you rentals inside, second floor, then outside and back down to the first on the beach only to notify you that you are to walk back a different way and are not allowed on hotel premises even though you already paid $15 for parking.

My wife and I tried paddle boarding for the first time ever with Sunny Isles Beach Water Sports. Our guide/instructor was named Soety. She was very nice and a lot of fun. Here is some basic info that may help you:

Location: The "office location" is on a docked boat. The paddle boards are attached to it and they set you up with the proper equipment & give you beginner tips. As beginners, you paddle board through the intercostal waters which are relatively calm.

How hard is it?: Because you are in the intercostal waters, it's not that difficult. The balance part was a little easier than I expected. And once you start moving, the balance is even more stable. Neither my wife and I fell off the board during our 2 hour tour. If you have decent coordination & balance, you will have a great time.

Instructor: Soety is very laid back and a lot of fun. She brought a big speaker out on the water with her and played great music while we were paddle boarding. She also has bottle water for you in her backpack. Soety also took some pictures of us on the water and sent them to us the next day (no charge!!). Thank you for a great time Soety!!

What do I do with my stuff & what do I wear?: Swim suits and I wore a t-shirt too. We stored our phones and other belongings on the boat.

If you are on vacation, and want to try paddle boarding for the first time, I would highly recommend Sunny Isles Sports. So much fun!!

Chep rent of paddle boards but they have seen already many years. The girl at the station was so kind and gave me a waterproof box for the cell and cash, but also this fixation wasn't holding and i have then to swim after the box. Aside of this i could recommend it.
