Called yesterday on March 25, 2024, to let them know I would be in to pay my bill as soon as I got off work, not even 30 minutes later my wife called and said the water was shut off, so she paid it online and of course we had to pay the $50 reconnection fee. Bill cam came out to $300.20. Water still wasn’t turned back on. Called today on Match 25, 2024, 9:19am the rudest lady answered the phone, she acted like we didn’t pay it, and claimed they don’t check online payments. She also said or water could be back on today or tomorrow, that she doesn’t know. If you move anywhere with Chattooga County Water, don’t let your bill be a few minutes late and apparently don’t pay online because according to them they don’t acknowledge those payments.

I have been with Chattoga County water for 14 months. I moved to Trion from Dalton last year. I have had absolutely no issues. The ladies in the office are always kind and helpful, and super friendly. I'm not speaking for every customer. The way I see it is if you pay your Bill's on time and stop making excuses there would not be any issues
Also, I have called the office a few times when we had no water or pressure and the phone at the office was answered the first or second ring.

If I could rate zero stars I would! There is ALWAYS a water break somewhere and then your water is off for hours and hours. Literally water was off on thursday December 16th for hours! Stepson called around 1030am it didnt come back on until 2. its Monday december 20th and the company they hired to put in the new system hit a water main. It was 11am when I called to see the time frame. Of course they dont have a time frame. A couple months ago the Ga Power hit a water line and they couldn't find where. That took hours too. But they definitely dont give these customers a break in payments.

It's a hassle to get ahold of anyone to pay your water bill. I've been calling for 2wks and I refuse to pay a late fee when the water district is at fault for not answering phones during their open hours! This is a monthly issue.

I would not use this company if I did not have to. They seem to change their process without notification and will not work with you
