If all and I mean all other dealers fail you, then maybe consider coming here to purchase a boat. If it wasn't for what I would consider a pretty good price on the boat I purchased, I wouldn't have wasted as much time as I have here. I do not think the owner, sales manager, or salesman have any idea what is going on at the dealership on a day to day basis. Waited almost a month to get my boat with multiple excuses and date of receiving it pushed out every week. Once received the boat, it was in my opinion not "gone thru" shape and missing items I wasn't made aware of prior to taking possession of it. 3 months have gone by now and I am still waiting on promised items with no emails/call replies. Only reason for a 2 star review vs 1 star is the owner calling and trying to make things right with me and thinking we were on the backside of the bad customer service, but still here waiting on items...

Highly recommend T & S Marine if you're looking at Sportsman Boats (or any boat). On paper, I thought I knew exactly the center console boat I needed. T & S had the model I was searching for with all the right options and they happened to be relatively close. As is common with most of their listings, their price couldn’t be beat. For a fully refundable deposit made over the phone, Jason, the sales-manager, didn’t hesitate to hold the boat for me while it was on display at the Atlanta Boat Show. I went over on a cold winter day to find a no-frills dealership with a crew of busy but friendly people. Eric, the resident Sportsman expert, trailered the boat to the nearby ramp on Lake Lanier and we did a thorough demo. The set-up of that model, in real life, wasn’t for me.

Jason couldn’t have been more gracious about the deal falling through even though he likely missed a sale at the Boat Show. He was going to refund my deposit but I saw another Sportsman model on the lot that looked more like what I needed. Jason quoted a great price and agreed to hold that boat for two weeks, until I could demo it after a trip I had to make. Again, Eric led the demo and within 5 minutes I knew had my boat. Even though I was sold, Eric insisted on going through all the details of that model so that I was thoroughly familiar with it.

Neicia, in the office, made sure all the paperwork was dealt with quickly and painlessly. It was truly a great experience as a buyer. Everyone I encountered at T & S was good natured and the overall vibe of the place was pleasant and easy going, especially for the controlled chaos inherent in a dealership that moves a lot of boats. I can understand their success. They offer boats with all the right options and offer them at an unbeatable price. And they know how to treat people. They were more concerned with me getting the boat that was right for me than simply making a sale. That says a lot.

I will never use this dealer again or recommend anyone else to. I went in on a Friday interested in a bass tracker, I did the finance application that night and was called the next morning on Saturday telling me I got approved, Jason (t&s employee) told me my interest rate and my monthly payments with the extended warranty vs without. I asked if I could come get it this weekend and was told no, he had a boat show to go to and I could come maybe Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Jason then called me Tuesday and said I could come get it on Thursday or Friday, I tried calling him back all day on Tuesday to ask why it was delayed a few days again, considering when I first went to look at it he said all the maintenance was just done to the boat and everything was just tested. After calling all day he never answered, call or texted me back. My wife then tried to call Jason on Wednesday to see what time we were suppose to be coming on Thursday or Friday to get the boat. Shockingly, he didn't answer again. She sent him a text and he finally called her back. He said now the boat wont be ready until NEXT Wednesday or Thursday. When she questioned him why is was taking so long he said that it had to be looked over and that he was busy with other customers. I then called him back and said if I cant have the boat by the end of the week like we agreed on then I no longer was interested in it, his response was "okay, bye" then hung up on me. I was shocked by how rude he was. I have never heard of having to wait 2 weeks to get a boat that supposedly was already tested prior to me looking at it? The only thing left to do was for me to go in and put the down payment down and take the boat, gaining t&s a sale and money, but for some reason they didn't want that I tried calling the office line all day the next 2 days and not one person answered. A manager never called me about this situation and unfortunately because no one answers the phone there I was unable to get ahold of a manager to talk about what happened. I ended up going to bass pro and getting a brand new boat that same week. A lot smoother of a process and everyone was so friendly, I even explained to them what happened and they laughed and said that was absolutely ridiculous. T&S is extremely rude and puts you on the back burner if you're not buying and 100k boat, and good luck ever getting ahold of someone. A complete waste of my time. To top off this horrible experience, 3 weeks later I got a letter in the mail from t&s and whoever they use as a lendor stating they regret to inform me that my application was denied on 3/22, which is the day I applied and yet on 3/23 Jason from t&s marine calls me to tell me I'm approved and gives me my interest rate? Makes zero sense, especially considering I just bought a boat that was 10k more than the one still currently sitting at t&s and was approved right away. I have the boat sitting In my driveway and couldn't be happier that I didn't use these guys. I have never encountered an experience like this before. I read bad reviews prior to going there but was skeptical, but after my own experience I truly recommend staying away at all cost from this dealer, especially Jason.
