A cross between your favorite farm & ranch store and bass pro. Not bad on prices, good choices in product, easy to find what you're looking for and very friendly staff.

Farm & Home has good supplies of feed for all the animals on the farm, if you're just starting out, or if you just need feed for certain animals. They also have a nice variety of clothing that is good quality. Their clothing varies from comfortable, fashionable to safety gear. I have been able to find every kind of boot that I've needed. The staff there is very friendly and always willing to help you find what you are looking for. Hopefully they will start carrying women's cowboy hats.

The last six times I've shopped at the Alton store I was overcharged for bolts. Tonight I bought pole barn screws for $7.99 a pound but was charged $19.99. Per pound. I checked my receipt before I got out of line at the cash register and it was corrected. The last 6 times buying bolts they over charged me between $40 and $14. I think I'm going to start shopping at Rural King in collinsville.
