My water was shut off on a holiday payment was made I called Monday office was closed. I've called several times to speak w a supervisor the first time I was told there is NO supervisor on site and if there was they would tell me the same thing I put in a request for a supervisor to call back and that first request was not submitted notes are there but not submitted I called the next day it was admitted that it was Aqua's error and water was restored 2 days later now pipes are frozen and I called back yet again to see if they can help in this issue that was their error, I was told to let my pipes break and then call back I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on I called back the same person answer the phone I said she was not going to tolerate being yelled at I was like I'm not tolerating u telling me to let my pipes burst them call back then was told to use a hair dryer to warm my pipes. I asked for a medical certificate was told they don't do that then one rep said they do and faxed it to my doctors office 3 times all to be told the form is available online and I could have used that to sent to my doctor and I have several request for a supervisor and still no call back it is now since Monday and still no resolution no call back and frozen pipes this is reported to the Utility commission and possibly the news and lawsuit. Losing time at my job to make all these call just for help to fix an error on their part

With my husband in hospital, rehab, daily doctor appointments and tests, I cannot schedule an appointment to have the meter replaced yet, but they threatened to shut off my water. My priority is to FIRST try and get my husband well, not fill up their meter replacement schedule.

Sold my home and moved out of Aqua NJ service area and they still bill me in my name at my old address. Even after talking to them numerous times and sending a check for total amount due they still bill me as if the service was still in my name and at the same address. Their system is very poor to facilitate changes in service in a timely manner. Now they send me a pass due notice. Very frustrating. Also when you send them a check my bank says it cleared on a specific date and their system shows it didn't post for as many as 3 -4 days later. Very poor service.

My first call is handled by Rudest customer service representative ever. So this review is purely because of her. She need to learn from her colleagues as they are good.
I called again the other representative answered and she is good. I can hear the first representative in the background.

If it is possible to give them less than 1 star, I would. We NEVER have missed a payment the whole time we have lived in our house. We have auto pay. Today, they shut off our service because we did not have them change out a water meter. Really? A water meter and you're going to shut off water to good PAYING customers? Get the f**k out of here! Apparently, they and Trenton Water Works (both 1 star ratings), are the only water utility companies in the area. Both suck, hence the one star ratings. Some government entity needs to step in and end their water utility monopoly over the community. But then again, Aqua is probably bribing the government. Please someone step up to these POS's. Shutting off our service was pure intimidation to manipulate us. We're the poster child of good customers. And if your to push back and intimidate them, that would probably be considered harassment and illegal. I wish nothing good for this company and the people that work for them.

I am definitely not the poster-child for timely water bill payments, as I tend to wait til the amount exceeds $100, but this past time I used the automated payment system, I was FORCED to pay my FUTURE water bill to keep my water turned on. I hadn't received any shutoff notice, as I wasn't THAT late in paying the bill and the next month's bill hadn't yet arrived, yet I had to pay that future statement. It wasn't the Western Union that told me this either. I was informed by AQUA that this was the case. OBVIOUSLY I paid it, though I didn't even know WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR. Now I'm left feeling lied to and manipulated by the water company.. And Aqua is the only game in town. I realize I'd have received the statement and had to pay for my water usage, but it doesn't change the fact that Aqua makes enough money and doesn't have to manipulate its customers to receive money BEFORE THE DUE DATE. SHAME ON YOU, AQUA!!

This company is absolutely horrible, They literally operate like the mafia. They overcharged me for 3 months in a row and when I finally caught it, They told me they would mail me a check and that it was my fault I overpaid because that I should have caught it sooner. This company is an absolute joke, I wish I could deal with a different water company.
