I love this place! They have been my go-to place for all my running needs the past several years. Whether it be last minute shopping for a running event or special-order shoes that are not ordinarily available in-stores. Nicholas assisted me last year in finding a new pair of brooks and I have not looked back, I'm very happy with the service I received here on multiple occasions. I appreciate how they also have pub runs on Thursdays and Coffee runs on Saturdays. David and Alissa are always very helpful and pleasant. Thank you to the entire BBay running crew for always coming thru in the clutch. I will continue coming in for my running needs and I highly recommend them!

Initially was told to purchase a pair of running shoes I would have to go through the store's evaluation. I balked at this, but did it anyway. It was well worth the 15 minutes or so and I was pleased with the service and my purchase. Nicholas was great, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely worth the visit.

I’ve grown up thinking that I could just buy shoes anywhere.Break them in and they would be fine. BBay running has completely changed that for me. The owner David takes the time to really understand what you’re looking for in a shoe. I’m not a runner or a jogger I’m just a guy who wants comfortable shoes that will last. These guys fit you perfect for your shoe. I won’t go anywhere else to buy my day to day shoes.

Top-notch service. I showed up 10 minutes before closing time, but Nicholas encouraged me to stay and get a fitting. It took 4 pairs of shoes, but I finally found the right ones with attentive, helpful, and never pushy service the whole way through.

It would be hard to overstate how competent, caring, and passionate the crew is at BBay running. And patient. I walked in on a quiet rainy day and Alissa immediately picked the perfect shoe for me. I have been struggling for years with a Morton's neuroma, trying all kinds of shoes, PT, footbeds, met pads, you name it. Alissa, first time, got a size and new model of Altra which largely relieved the pain. I was pretty stunned, so I ended up spending hours more trying on other shoes just to confirm her first choice was the best. It was. Thanks Alissa. I then walked 10 miles in the new shoes, right out the door. I have not been able to do that many miles without pain for years.

I have bought all of my shoes here for the last few years. They have a great selection of high quality walking/running shoes, which are essential for me as I have a semi-prosthetic knee that is developing early onset arthritis. Staff is very knowledgeable and patient, working to find the best fit for each person, and have given me tips on how I can extend the lifetime of my shoes (since they are a bit of an investment).

4* only because I bought a pair of Altra shoes here and the sole wore out within a couple months. It seemed to be a manufacturer defect, but sadly there was nothing the staff here could do to repair the shoe, nor did they offer me a discount on a new pair. I don't blame them for the manufacturer's poor quality control, though, and have just stopped buying that brand altogether. I'm current really enjoying a pair of Topo shoes I bought here!
