I use my six year old commuter bike everyday and love that bike more than any other I’ve ever had. After some recent part failures I brought it in for repairs, expecting that restoration to original state would be impossible. But, they proved me wrong! Like a lot of other customers I go out of my way to go to Bicycles Etc. It's worth it for the excellent and friendly service I have always gotten there. I recently had a derailleur installed on my Sears Free Spirit. I ended up paying less than the estimate, and the bike works great! It's also a good place to take the old bicycles I've worn out and are not worth fixing. The Working Bike Cooperative which fixes the repairable bicycles and sells some of them and donates a lot of them to needy global communities picks up the old bicycles periodically from Bicycles Etc.

Really great local bike shop for all your needs. Really friendly staff that knows their stuff, will help you pick out bikes, helmets, accessories, anything you need, and they’ll make sure you get what’s right for you and not just the most expensive. We felt welcomed and supported the whole time. Special shoutout to Martha who was so sweet and helpful!

Shop here instead of amazon/walmart/etc 🙂

Great bike shop. Had a bike with bad hydraulic disc brakes and they got them switched out and working well with a new rotor. They let me test everything and helped adjusting them till they were better than new. Really good experience.

The Bicycles Etc in Lisle has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is great selection of different bicycles and accessories for any type of rider's needs. We got a great deal on two Marin bikes thanks to Brian and the bikes were built within a few days. The staff was very accommodating and patient with us as we selected all of the necessary accessories. Brian was also extremely helpful as he installed and showed us how to attach the bike rack carrier and bicycles to our car. We would definitely recommend Bicycles Etc to all our friends and family.
