I recently had the pleasure of renting snowboard equipment from Black Tie Rentals in Sun Valley, and I can confidently say it’s the best rental shop in town! The cozy atmosphere, complete with a comfy couch, made me feel right at home. I rented a snowboard, boots, and a helmet, and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the equipment—the snowboard was not only high-quality but also cute! Sam was fantastic, making the fitting process a breeze with his expertise and friendly demeanor, while Harry was a great help during the return. The seamless communication via texts for pickup and return confirmations was a nice touch, making the entire experience hassle-free. Overall, Black Tie Rentals exceeded my expectations with their excellent service, clean facility, and top-notch equipment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent gear in Sun Valley!

I rented for the first time with Black Tie in Sun Valley for my 14 year old son. Their service was fantastic! It was more convenient than waiting in line at the mountain to rent, as they delivered the skis directly to my hotel at the time of my choosing. They were very flexible and easy! I rented for 2 days, and it turned out that my son got hurt so we needed to skip the 2nd day and instead ski the 3rd day. Black tie was great — giving me a free comp skip day and allowing us to keep the skis for an additional day at no additional charge! Net it was cheaper and more convenient to rent with black tie instead of on the mountain. Thanks black tie! We’ll definitely rent again.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was given a pair of skis specific to my ability and conditions on the mountain, not just your basic run-of-the-mill rentals. I often have a hard time with ski boots, and when I called them about getting a different pair, they met me right at the mountain with 2 more choices and also brought a pair of ski socks (as I was unexpectedly able to ski, I didn't have any ski socks and was just wearing hiking socks, which didn't work out so well). The skis, boots, and poles were delivered and picked up right from my hotel room on time and the whole process was seamless. Would highly recommend if you're in need of rentals.

Using Black Tie was absolutely a breeze! If you don't want to hit the rental shop, they bring your equipment right to where you're staying. Service was available if needed on the mountain. Would definitely recommend and use again!
