We did 4 miles and the trails were well marked. The diversity was good for wildlife, and we enjoyed the nature trails ?

Visited the park with the goal of completing the loop that is just over 8 miles. The Florida Trail portion is very well marked. The White Trail towards to the connector trail to complete the loop wasn't marked as well. Definitely bring a GPS and compass as a backup if this is your first time on this trail.

I enjoyed a good 9 mile hike along a few connecting trails. There were areas on the blue and white trail where the tree markers weren't there but we figured out where the path continued. There are many markers and the paths were mostly clear. I felt like I was going through different environments (forest, swamp, open area, low bush area, etc.) sometimes which made it fun!

Camping and Hunting. I was awarded a quota Hunt for turkey March 2022. The camp sites are new and not reflected correctly in the Florida State Forest website. They are much, much nicer. Lots of wildlife. Owls call all night, lots of fire flies, and turkey. I saw quail, gopher tortoise. Mosquitos are numerous as there is a lot of creeks. Definitely bring DEET repellent spray. I didn't have any because I forgot it at home and had numerous ticks on me. I had dog ticks and lone star ticks of all sizes. Other than the ticks, it is a beautiful property.

I couldn't go to far as the trails were flooded and unpassable. Was hoping to get deeper into the woods and trail.

A beautiful but little-known forest in both Seminole and Orange Counties.
