Christy Sports Ski & Patio

Fui a preguntar por skis a la venta para fin de temporada. Un chico de ojos azules, bastante grosero nos atendió. Poco amistoso no me dio una respuesta cordial, de hecho estaba un poco enojado con las preguntas. Por favor denle vacaciones, al parecer esta un poco estresado. No volvería, no lo recomiendo

Cody was absolutely awesome and got me fit into the perfect boots for me. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, and the environment of the entire shop was so fun. All the staff were really friendly and they took such great care of me as a customer. So glad I came here for my ski needs!

We’ve been renting skis for our kids from Christy’s for years now. It’s great, because they’re still growing, so we don’t have to buy equipment that will need to be replaced quickly. We always get awesome service from all of their employees—they’re friendly and great with our kids, and super efficient. The equipment is well maintained, and it’s a massive plus that they have so many locations—you can get a different boot size or even switch between skis and snowboards at any of those locations. One year, our daughter’s feet grew between picking up her gear and going skiing, and the Christy’s near our resort took care of it, no problem. One last point that makes them our go-to: renting our gear by the season saves so much time. We can pick up before the season gets going, which means we don’t waste time (or money—renting for the season saves you if you’ll be going for around 5 days or more) renting each time we go skiing. The gear is already there and ready to go. We love renting with Christy’s and highly recommend them!

Came in to rent boots, skis, and poles for a trip the next day with friends. Things came up and eventually no one could make it and we cancelled the ski day. When I returned the items I expected to just take the rental hit, but the staff was incredibly understanding and helpful and offered a refund without hesitation. Turned the down point of my trip from Seattle to a mere hiccup. Thank you!

I’ve shopped at this location and the staff have always been very helpful here. Victoria helped me out tonight by stringing to have kids ski poles shipped from one Christy’s location to the Arvada location, and she made this such an easy and seamless process. I had asked the same question of an employee at the Steamboat (mountain) location just yesterday who had been very unhelpful. By contrast, Victoria was friendly and beyond helpful. I hope I got her name right as that’s what was on the receipt! Had to write a review tonight to share my overwhelming positive experience! Thank you!!

Cody was amazing to work with. He helped me when upgrade my old boots and bindings. He spent time listening to what I like doing, made suggestions, educated me on the differences, and got me set up with exactly what I needed! He even saved me enough cash with a previous year model that I was able to upgrade my pants as well. Will be back whenever I’m in the market for new gear.

Brad (Breckenridge) at the Arvada store just got me fit for ski boots and he was awesome! Really felt like he was listening to what I wanted and never made me feel pressured to upgrade. I absolutely recommend going to see him for any of your ski gear needs!

My husband & I were so excited to go pick up gear. The first person we met with (didn’t catch his name but he said he was from Steamboat & used to be their ski coach) was so arrogant. He bombarded us right off the clip with all of his expertise & wouldn’t let us ask a single question. He then asked my husband to grab his boots from the truck & didn’t notice when my husband left I could overhear him talking poorly about my husband & already stating the boots would prob be “awful” to the front desk gal. He then proceeded to tell my husband the boots he had custom fitted for him would t be good & that he recommended renting boots & questioning their fit. Again these were custom fit boots. Nonetheless, he made the experience really off putting & we ended up just leaving without buying what we intended (ski jacket, goggles, helmet & rental package for a board). We will rent elsewhere & pick up the other gear at REI. Bummed but it didn’t feel right working with someone that rubbed us so wrong. Word of advice- listen more & talk less.
