So if you press 1 or 3 on the directory it’s designed to let it ring and go to an automated service that’s prompts you to “know your party’s extension which is a huge pain in the butt and they’re hoping you won’t go through all the trouble to do it. Do yourself a favor and if you want prompt service hit number 2 which is “collections” department, which will answer immediately. My advice is to call collections and have them transfer you to your desired directory.

Started my online request to get my water service up and running for a new house I just purchased here . Jan/13/2025 I submitted application and today Jan/14/2025 they have all the documents to finish it . I have a new born and Wife is postpartum with no water and I’m being told I have to wait till Monday even though I did everything they have told me to do to get it back on from multiple phone calls and previous owner of home has been in person 5 times since Jan/12/2025 . This place needs to policy’s to help and ensure the residents of Baytown get what they need . Nobody cares and wants to do their job .

Water bill is due on a different day every month. It was due on the 13th in march then the 4th 9th 7th now the 6th. Why can’t it be a specific day? Or stay within a day or two of the previous month.

The utility department is absolutely useless when it comes to bill pay issues. You can't do it remotely, which does not work when you are nowhere in the area. They require you to go in person to setup a payment plan regardless of whether you are able to get there or not. If I could have a well put on my property out in Baytown instead of dealing with the city water service, I would, it would be much less crap to deal with.

Can the city of Baytown please do something about the water company. We are tired of them not caring, tired of not getting answers, tired of being ignored and all the rudeness is not necessary.

I have lived in Baytown for over a year the water bill was reasonable at first year later they raised there fees and now if your late on a water bill they have the nerve to charge an additional 50 dollars they have terrible customer service offers no help when it comes to explaining why the bill has hiked up damn near $80 more my guess is they are purposely over charging and getting away with it.They are terrible and need to do better
