I'm upset with water dept my bill jumped from 125 to375 and no i don't have a leak it is impossible for two adults to use 33387gal in one month then i started looking closer at my bill last fall when their computer. System crashed we didn't get a bill for a couple when we started getting bills again my first one was very high i figured it was for the past couple of months. didn't think much of it just paid it then in February it figured my bill would go back to normal i have paid the water dept since the first up to today a little over a thousand dollars really water dept what is being built now that we are paying fori complain about the bill and their famous reply was you have a leak Pryor to this i had a plumber come out and check for did not find one leak i told them plumber came out no leaks and said could be meter oh no nothing wrong with our meter refuse to talk to me about it so i decided today i turned my water off at the main cut off and I'm leaving it off then we will see what kind of bill i get I'm am sick and tired of trying to reason with them sorry this was so long I'm sure I'm not the only one in this problem

I am very disappointed with the city hall of Keene. It seems to me that you all are overcharging on a lot of residents water bills. Then y'all or quick to shut off residents water just to get more money on reconnection fees. ($50) It seems to me ever since the new city hall has been built y'all have really been money hungry. Believe it or not but I truly think the residents are being forced to pay back on the loan you guys received to build a new city hall by overcharging on their bills. There is no way in hell people water bills should be in between $150 to over $300 on a water bill. I've spoken with several residents about their water bills. It's RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

Every time I have had to deal with the water department in Keene I have never had a pleasant encounter. This last time when I called to make changes to my automated payments, I was spoken to very rudely by Juanita. I was told no one could help me and would have to pay a fee to cancel it. That was not what I wanted to do. I simply wanted to change account information because my credit card was stolen so I had to change accounts. The women I was talking to told me she was too busy to help me because she had customers as if I was not one. I hope next time she will take into account that anyone with questions SHOULD be treated as a valued customer. Thank you Alicia for being patient with me and help me find a solution to pay or bill on time 🙂

I've heard several horror stories from Keene residents about their water service.from not refunding deposits because the account hasn't been in service for one year, to being unwilling to adjust a bill for plumbing leaks, but continuing to charge a monthly minimum service fee after the account has been closed to ensure that they eat your deposit is beyond the pale. If you can live somewhere else I would recommend it.

Keene performing traffic operations without marker lights is illegal. I have seen and recorded their cars on occasions performing traffic control without marker lights. So if an emergency arises and someone uses the shoulder in an actual emergency the cruiser will be destroyed and most likely the occupant will perish. And it will be the city of keene fault for performing traffic operations with out marker lights after dusk. I could possibly have to pull over and not see the city vehicle and injure the occupants of my vehicle. Which would be bad for a town with less than 2 million in the bank. I'm taking it all.

If I could give a 0 I would. I am so disappointed in the City Hall of Keene. I am not from here, got a ticket back in March of this year. I took off work to take care of this in a timely manner and was sent an email saying I was all good and they had all payments and papers needed. I am still getting mail from them saying they need my papers. Even after forwarding them the email they had sent me saying everything was good they still have told me my court date (that I never should have had assigned to begin with) is cleared!! So unprofessional.

Multiple work orders go unanswered for water leaks that are on the main line in this neighborhood. Creating mosquito breeding grounds and running a health risk for everyone else.
