Nice campground, swimming & fishing lake. We did not like the timed showers. They click off ever 6 seconds. Hard to push in. If you got a lot of hair this is a bad deal. Clean bathrooms, lovely area.

I was fortunate enough to “have to” spend a week at Clear Creek Recreation Area while waiting for my truck to get repaired. Loved the place! Hiked, kayaked, mountain biked, swam, and napped my way through the week. Ok, and worked some, too, although cell signal can be spotty. Tammy, Barbara, and the rest of the crew were very accommodating. (Special thanks to Bruce for moving my camper for me on his weekend off!) The camping and day use areas were tidy.

Wonderful and helpful staff! Beautiful campsites, especially the ones on the water. Nice hiking trail that leads to a secret cave/waterfall. Super pleasant stay. We will be visiting again!

I go to this campground as frequently as possible. It’s close to my home and the amenities are superb. The lakeside sites are beautiful and there are plenty of places to hang hammocks, fish, or just wander in nature. The staff is always super kind and accommodating.

The rec area is a bit dated but very nice. The grounds and water edges are cut and maintained. The host checks on the bathroom supplies and any issues a couple of times a day. Two thumbs up especially for 20bucks with water,electric and showers.

We come here every year and will be back next year. Close to good trails. Quiet and the people here have always been good. The camp management makes sure things are in good shape.

The campground is very nice. No sewer hookups The waterfront sites have great views. And, the park is clean.
However, the staff is too busy pushing the rules a bit overboard, looking for any little detail to dictate the rules to you while they're breaking the same rules on their own host campsites!! Parking in the grass, junking up the site, more than the allowed number of tents set up, etc.
Not once were we welcomed to the park, thanked for choosing that park, invited back, or shown any real hospitality whatsoever!!
The real kicker was being handicapped and not being allowed to use my golf cart to access the amenities of the park. That goes dead against the rules of any national park campground.
And, when my wife spotted a large copperhead snake, as she was walking our little dog, the staff informed us not to dare kill the snake. It's their natural habitat and to kill it is against the law. May be but, a copperhead? That close to my camp site? Yep, it's dead!!

Final remark. As nice as the park is, it was a 'ONE & DONE' for me n mine!!
