Just moved to Sierra Vista. Had to redo my landscaping which was non-existent. Ordered 43 tons of 7/8 gravel. 9 tons of rip rap pricing was comparable and delivery was extremely fast. Thank you for the help in your yard selecting the right Rock.. The delivery driver was extremely efficient and courteous he offered to help me stretch out the final yards of fabric, before dumping. I would highly recommend Cochise Stone

The most cost-effective solution in the area. Gary, the owner, will return your call if you have any questions/issues the customer service reps cannot handle. For the rock/stone order and delivery process (they have other material – see the website), the best thing to do is go in person, get the table of the various stone options from the office, look at the stone sample in an area across from the office, then go back and order your stones at which time you will receive an invoice describing the material you ordered. If you need to return home to discuss, then return to make your order. Otherwise, order over the phone, but be sure to have the order repeated and ask the customer rep to email you a copy of the invoice so you can check it before the stone is delivered. As for delivery, be there when the truck arrives and ask the driver to see the invoice, making sure the description is correct before the driver dumps the load. If you ask the driver to look at the actual material in the truck, then you need to assume the risk of falling/hurting yourself while getting on/off the truck to look at the material.

So far it's been a great experience, I called to schedule a delivery and was greeted by a very personal but professional young lady who had a smooth Kentucky accent who took the time to see if I would be charged a delivery fee for 5 tons to Hereford she called back and said I'm within the free delivery range and told me I may have delivery today as there was a cancelation. She called me later and let me know they would have to deliver tomorrow, which is fine.
Great customer service and I expect no less when they make the delivery tomorrow.
So far I'm a very satisfied customer.

Just called for info today. I had no frame of reference on how this works, delivery versus hauling in rock sizing selections and what is the difference between the “tons of rocks “with surface coverage.
I probably sounded like an idiot… But nevertheless the lady that answered the phone was very patient and answered all of my questions and give me some helpful tips for the selection process. Great customer service so far
