Would recommend to anyone looking to kayak the Grand River. Great kayaks, paddles, life jackets. Portage included. Pricing was more than reasonable! The weekend before we went out with the competition.....spent $50 for a quarter of what we were able to get with Dimondale Canoe and Kayak. Will DEFINITELY be sending all our trips their way this summer.

Would highly recommend! Fast sign in waiver process, equipment was top of the line, the guy was very friendly, and helpful! Only thing I would improve on is the landing dock/area there isn't a whole lot of clear space, and he was out of business cards. But if your looking for something to do or have kids this is a shorter one perfect length for children. The water is very shallow so if you are afraid of deep water, no problem, you just have to stand up and you'll be taller than the water is deep.

Had an awesome day out today! Easy signup, only $20, nice cozy ride didn’t have to work too hard upstream and just float on back! Definitely coming back for more in the future!!

Gold mine only 5 mins from my house! Owner is super cool. Kayaks are very nice. He drove us in his fancy van to Danford park and we casually rode the river down. Its beautiful, relaxing and a wonderful river to ride down. Our 11 year old used a kayak by himself and was able to master the river with ease!

I have enjoyed two trips down the river and have no complaints! My son(age 10) did just fine on the trip! Mr. Man that runs the place is super duper nice, and made sure we were comfortable and set to enjoy a short trip!

What a great way to spend an hour or two! Nice and relaxing river. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very reasonable rates and you can have the craft for the day if you wished. No reservations needed unless you plan to do the longer trip (their website is very helpful). First time using a double sit-in kayak and it was fun. We did the Danford Island run. River was on the swifter side so we didn't paddle back up stream. Glad to have canoeing and kayaking near Lansing. Husband and I will return with the kids next time! Thanks!

Such a convenient and affordable place for a day of fun! The staff is super nice and super chill. Such a relaxing way to spend the day. Also appreciate they stay open way into the fall when all other rental places stop on Labor Day- a gorgeous way to take in the fall colors! Highly recommend!
