So because of the weather my trash is overflowing. I understand that pick up was cancelled due to weather, but do we get a week of trash service taken off our bill. I was told no. The city is just fraudulently making a killing during bad weather. Not only do they not have to pay staff for that week but they still make us pay for a week of service that we didn't receive. Anything to steal from the residents.

Honestly don’t know what I’m doing writing a review. It’s the city that we are forced to pay for these services. Yet every review talks about how badly they treat their own citizens! Really think about it. I received terrible service have gone over 2 weeks without trash cans or trash pick up but no one is held accountable because it’s government workers. I shouldn’t be expected to live in a city like this or pay people for services like this. I WANT MORE FROM THE CITY OF EVANSVILLE!!!

Help your citizens! These are the people that keep your economy going. Things like this will force me to move and take my economic growth to better places for me and my family

Wish it was possible to give zero stars. A confirmation number, recipet, bank confirmation and my water was turned off twice in the same week WHEN THE BALANCE WAS PAID weeks before it was even due, get a life Evansville water and sewer you suck!!!!!

Paid my bill after shutt off . They never turned water on the next day called was on hold several times for 46 min 26 min left several call back numbers they called back a couple hrs later only to have the guy turn the neighbors water on and that neighbor has has passed nobody lives there . Got off work at 10:30pm no water called Emergency line Bingo!!! got ahold of Tyler Toley great service very prompt all around great service from him not to mention the man who turned it on was very good at what he does.

I don't think I've ever took the time to leave a bad review-But in this case- the evansville water department- I had to. Literally on the phone for hours and hours (5 in total I belive) on hold multiple occasions trying to get the water service in my name at a new address. Totally un helpful. Instead of putting it in my name they came out and disconnected it. They seem to have plenty of employees to disconnect your service but nobody to answer the phone. This is what happens when a company has a monopoly. It's been over a week- sitting here with no water still and waiting on a "call back". Not sure if this is a city budgeting problem or a management issue at the water dept. Either way someone needs to clean house and get this place in order. Not to mention the ridiculous fees and rates we pay- 3 times higher then Warrick county- shame on ESWU

Evansville puts .7 to 1.2 ppm of the known nuerotoxin flouride in their water treatment . A Federal Court ruled this is an unreasonable risk to children.

I kid you not. I called at 11:46am and requester emergency service cause the main pipe entering my home had cracked and was leaking ridiculously! I called again at 12:51 to see where they were to shut my water off because I had been mopping water that whole time to keep my house from flooding. That lady told me they are onel their way and you could tell her tone of voice she felt very sorry for me. 2 hours exactly on the dot of the first call they arrive. I filled 10 mop bucks full of water. I told this to the guy that shut the water off (Who is super kind and I do not blame at all). He told me that he had no idea cause they hadn't called him until I called the second time which was clearly still very delayed. I wish there was an option for zero stars!

Was suppose to be out to turn on water yesterday, didn’t show. Called this morning, was told they “came out at 11:00” which is wild seeing as I didn’t call them until 11:05 yesterday and was on hold for 15 minutes. They told me someone would be out “later in the day”… See the problem? Apparently they can time travel!
Oh yeah, and I haven’t received my trash cans, which I requested months ago!
