Mostly flat, follows the creek. It’s pretty well shaded. There are three parking areas that you can go to. If you have mobility issues I’d recommend the middle one as they have an ADA accessible trail. The big bridges have ramps (no stairs). All parking lots are a good size. Poison ivy on some edges of path so keep an eye out.

Wonderful little gem I just discovered this past weekend. Part of the trail is paved, most of it isn't which doesn't bother me at all. It was a beautiful, easy trail to walk as it follows along the river. Great history along the way as well to read about from the Revolutionary War and how they hand dug canals to power old an old mill and are still there to see!

Serene easy hike near creek on Memorial Day. After staying in for so long we wanted a place to walk in nature and just enjoy being out. French Creek Trail fit the bill perfectly. The wife and I both enjoyed the sounds of many birds and the babbling brook on our walk. The trail is flat and even partially paved in areas. A couple small bridges over the creek and a few benches to sit on along the way makes this place perfect for getting out and getting some exercise. Also not too crowded which is a plus.

Amazing, what a pleasant surprise to find such a wonderful trail through the natural areas along the creek.
(My only negative comment is that one particular neighbor of the trail has apparently placed some personal tchotchkes out along the trail almost as if to claim it as their own. Coincidentally they also have a "no trespassing" sign nearby. Hopefully somebody will address that. )
Otherwise, amazing, beautiful! I had a fantastic hike with a grand dog and 2 grandsons over Thanksgiving weekend.
