Can’t recommend this company for boot fitting highly enough. Ally has gone above and beyond in trying to fit my very awkward legs and feet with some ski boots. He has been extremely professional and patient at all times. Highly recommended shop selling everything you could wish for to do with skiing.

Great advice and excellent service. Thank you, Tom, for fitting my new boots and liners perfectly. It is the first time in 14 years I haven't had pain in my shin after skiing for a week. We first used this shop about 18 years ago and keep returning for excellent service and advice.

I went in to get my old boots modified to hopefully make them at least tolerable for my upcoming ski trip.
I haven’t had a chance to ski in them yet, but I don’t need to, to be able to say this place and the boot fitters there are absolutely excellent.
They are very knowledgeable and definitely know what they are doing. My boots might not be perfect, but the difference is night and day.
The staff are experts beyond what many many ski shops will do for your boots. For one, they are pretty much the only store which will modify boots they didn’t sell, and the fee is very reasonable.
They are able to grind/cut bits off boots (with permission) and modify them in ways that the majority of ski shops in England will not even consider doing.
When it’s time for new boots, there will be no debate on where I’ll be going to buy them.
There is a little bit of parking in front of the shop which is handy, but it’s close enough to Sainsbury’s that it’s no bother if you need to park there instead.

The only negative is that the opening hours are a bit limited (closes at 5.30pm). A late weekday (eg late night Thursday) would definitely be appreciated.

The friendly team at Glide and Slide couldn’t have been more helpful today. We went to get a helmet for my son who wears a Bone anchored hearing aid and also has autism and ADHD. He is going on his first ski trip with school in a few weeks and after a lesson at Xscape yesterday we realised that the helmet situation was going to be a problem.
They were able to advise and let him try every helmet suitable and even suggested an external company that could help with a custom made helmet that would meet my sons needs. We managed to find the correct helmet for him using his hearing aid in a slightly different way but we felt this was the best solutions and they really were great with their advice and patience.

I had a session with Frazer to have a look at my current boots in an effort to sort out my shin pain. I was expecting to come out with new boots. However no pushy sales or telling me I need new boots. Instead we decided on new boot liners. Although I have not skied in them yet, what a difference just standing in them. Frazer also made some adjustments to the boots and skis. What a great value service. I will 100% be back when I either need new boots or new liners. As a physio who knows a little about lower limb biomechanics, I can honestly say the quality and knowledge Frazer has is fantastic. Thank you.

Absolutely delighted with the experience myself and my daughter had. We both needed our ski boots adjusting ready for a trip to the slopes in a week. Both pairs were feeling a bit tight and uncomfortable. Miracles were performed and we both left with what felt like a brand new pair of perfectly fitting ski boots.
