Gus no longer values their customers or produce quality work. Save yourself money and a headache and go ANYWHERE else. So Gus has had my vintage bag since Feb 2023. I have called repeatedly and come into the store during this timeframe and always received an excuse why it was not ready. Today I go to pick up my bag that I paid $275 to be fully restored and in the below pictures you will see what I received back. Crappy patch work that clearly is not the same color of my bag and a strap. The edges are torn the inside pocket ripped and many other noticeable damage. Needles to say, the owner, said this was the best he could do, but did not inform me of this when he took my money a year and a half ago. My family has been patrons of this business since the early 90s before they changed locations and hands apparently, but no more. Not only are their repairs to shoes increased x10 but this lack of accountability and terrible work product, the fact the owner offered no partial refund for the work he didn't do is disheartening and pure greed.

My husband had been wanting these super expensive Gucci shoes that were not being produced for YEARS. They finally came out with them and I got them for our 10 year wedding anniversary. A few weeks later he spilled gas on them and they were ruined. It was the end of the world that evening especially finding out they no longer sell them in his size due to being out of stock again, just one month later. He tried fixing them himself and made them worse. In desperation I took them to this shop and they said it would take 2 weeks and they would try their best. I called today, only 1 week later, and they said they ended up dying them. My heart sank thinking what if they were ruined more To my surprise they look incredible!! As if they came from the factory this way. The staff here is very helpful and clearly know what they are doing. Will come back here for all my shoe needs. Can’t thank you enough!!!!

Gregory assisted me with getting my 2 pairs of shoes back into wearing order. One pair I thought was heading to be discarded, but he ensured me that he could saved them. I was so thankful, because the Anne Klein shoes were the most comfortable shoes I ever had for over 30 years.

Gregory provided excellent customer service, and to learn that he is carrying on his family legacy with pride. We do not have shoe repair here in Yulee, but he is worth the drive. He will take care of your shoe needs.

They did a terrible job resoling my boots. It’s uneven. The front part of the heal is clearly lower than the back part of the heal.

This is the second time they have provided me inferior results when it comes to shoe repair.

It’s a shame because I want a cobbler that knows their stuff so I can keep my boots longer.

Very good store if you are interested in repair or conditioning of shoes, leather bags, etc. And if you want intriguing purchases, then also check them out. Stacy Adams, Pelle Studio, Wilson Leather, etc. The most interesting, though pricey, is Gus's own signature hand-mades. Check them out. Keep in mind any work you request from Gus has to be paid upfront when you bring your items in. I have attached pics of a bag I purchased.
