We strolled the streets of Nashville during a weekend getaway in late October (2024) to there and Columbus, IN, and came across this well provisioned shop. As a guy who won't step outside without a hat on, with the selection in this shop, I can say I have reached 'peak haberdashery' with my choice of an all-leather, imported Göttman driving cap. A bit pricey, but with quality to match, we put it away until my birthday. What a present 🎁! For the cooler months, it will be my go-to hat. Customer service on this very busy weekend was excellent, too!

I just want to say that this is an AMAZING shop! Definitely one of the highlights of Nashville Indiana. They have a great selection of hats and the owners are very helpful. I was having a hard time finding the right hat for my selective beau and the owner was able to locate the perfect hat that met his list of many expectations. Also, VERY patient people!!!! My beau probably tried on a quarter of their hats before we found the one. Or, as the owner would put it, the hat found us. I was so happy!

My favorite and I mean absolute favorite part of the whole experience was the honesty and customer service. On accident, we were overcharged a little over $30. Honestly I didn't think so at checkout, I thought the hat was very reasonably priced for the quality. My beau promptly adorned the hat and we proceeded to shop around Nashville. Here is where I was mind blown. The owner was looking for us and caught us down the street about 2 hours later and told us that we were overcharged! He apologized and asked us to come back to the store to get reimbursed. TOP QUALITY SERVICE RIGHT THERE! I WOULD GIVE THIS SHOP MORE THAN A 5 STAR REVIEW IF I COULD!!!!

I absolutely am going to revisit this store, as a hat enthusiast, it's an incredible store.

I was in Nashville last weekend, and saw the tiniest, cutest Minnetonka moccasins (for infants all the way to adult sizes). I was drawn to a Stormy Kromer hat display, and ended up purchasing the first hat that had drawn my attention. John was so personable and patient, helping me with a particular Kromer hat and sizing. While I perused, and as other customers milled about the store, I could hear him talking to them about the history of a particular hat, or recommending a hat while intentionally listening to a customer's needs (for a costume or event). I will definitely return, as I absolutely LOVE my Stormy Kromer. His customer service was impeccable. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time. The experience that I had at Head Over Heels was the best I've had in any store, anywhere, hands down, all year.

Stopped in to purchase a Stetson Bozeman hat today . Staff member was very helpful and friendly in assisting me with my purchase. I would highly recommend you stop at this local store when visiting Nashville as you will find a great hat just for you!

Husband had a hat cleaned no charge couple yrs ago. He shared where to find the necessary sponges to do at home! Stopped in today & he bought another hat. He looked at several more & I'm sure we'll be back. Great selection! Terrific service!

Beautiful place, The people are great. Hats are quality and it’s very clear what their sizes are and such. And if not, the people there are super helpful! 10 out of 10 recommend. I even told him I was gonna come back and buy more hats!

Love this place. I bought a hemp Stratoliner. The staff were helpful and pointed me to a lot of hats I hadn't thought of trying out before. I wish I had more than one head so I could justify more hats.
