Went to quad City safety and got a pair of Carolina Boots the boots ran big and they didn't have a size lower so I went to holme shoes because they had told me they had the same boot in my size when I saw the price it was $50 more for the same boot I had purchased at quad city safety when I showed them the receipt from quad City safety seeing if they would be competitive and match the price they refused. I called quad City safety a couple days later and they had another pair of Carolina Boots a different style that was more comfortable and more expensive than the pair I got prior but to keep my business they decided to match my last price since the boots didn't fit me last time. Anyone looking to get a fair affordable price on boots stay clear of holmes shoes they are not competitive they do not price match and they do not care about the customer. Serving the community is not a priority for them making money hand over fist is their priority.
Quad city safety showed excellent customer service and first sought the needs of the person and price was second. They want people to know they understand what it means to need a pair of quality work boots and work to make it possible for every person walking in their doors.

Found shoes for my father but purchased them in what was his normal size but returned them the next day to exchange them with a wider size. Unfortunately they didn't have the same color but I wanted a pair that were comfortable Great service and word of mouth as I met a customer that morning that swore SAS were the only shoes she's worn as she was a retired nurse!

Their boot truck comes to my work a few times a year. Last time I wasn't happy about the boots I got do to a manufacturer defect. The owner stood behind the boots and did me a solid highly recommend their service. 👍

Much like Brandon, below, I ordered a pair of work boots and waited six weeks until I canceled the order. I had the feeling that my purchase was inconveniencing them. Poor follow-up and poor communication by the store employees. Might be OK with 'in-stock' items-beware if you have to special order something.

husband was asking about a product with salesman he just was;ked away without answering and went to wait on someone else. i was never asked if i needed help until several minutes later when another employee returned from lunch. we will not be returning to this store.
