Dropped wife’s bike off for the following:

Replace front shifter cable and housing.
Complete tune up of bike.

Get bike back and ride it around parking lot. Front Derailer rubs. Go inside and ask about it. Told “that’s normal”. I don’t wanna fight so I just leave. I get home and notice… they never changed the cable. Wanna know how I know?…. I tried fixing the bike myself and marked the cable. Yet… I was charged for it.

Couple of days go by… I get the tires I ordered for my wife’s bike. I go to change the tires and they put 69 fricken PSI in the tires destroying the valves. I have to go buy new tubes cause they won’t deflate. Now even more fun… I put the new tires on and wouldn’t you know it… the fricken rear rim isn’t straight after they guy said, “ I had to straighten the wheels by adjusting the spokes and your front brake rotor was bent.” Absolute B.S.

I dropped the bike off here and was charged $150 for replacement of a cable housing. Nothing more. I ended up spending hours watching ParkTool vids and adjusted the front Derailer… doesn’t rub at all in any position, trued the wheel and replaced the cable myself. I guess the positive part is I feel confident working on bikes 100% myself. Even bought a stand.

I have disputed the charge with my bank and contacted Trek telling them about my experience after not hearing back from anyone for days since I filled out their customer survey and have now left this review.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Crooks. Absolute crooks. Want this review taken down? Refund me my money.
