I have shopped here on and off every couple of years and the crew in this store has always been great. Very accommodating, friendly, and fun to deal with. Today in particular I had an experience where I had a gift card that was expired by a couple weeks and I thought I was SOL. Nope! They went to work on the system and found a way to honor it. I’m very appreciative and impressed!

I have never dealt with a more patient and knowledgeable shoe saleswoman. I am blown away by the quality experience I had at this store. My feet are extremely complicated and I may in the end need to come back again to up a size or change things around, but in general the staff of this store gave me more insight into finding a shoe that will actually work for me than I have ever recieved yet. Add that to a quality selection of shoes and you have a truly excellent shoe store. Thanks Island Comfort!

Saw a pair of Tom's limited edition shoes in a national magazine. Looked online for a pair to purchase. Was hesitant to buy from an unknown purveyor. Decided to take a chance on 'Island Comfort Footwear'. Spoke with a very pleasant woman when I called the store. She took my order and located the shoes immediately. They arrived well packaged and on a timely basis. My Mother was pleasantly surprised with her new shoes and I am grateful to the store for taking good care of this customer.

I had met the owner (or manager) when I purchased my first two pairs of orthotic shoes. She was so nice! I went in looking for another pair and was treated like absolute garbage from the older lady with a Jersey accent. I have never in my life been so belittled. She was awful. She was sitting on her phone when I walked in and was clearly annoyed at me just being there. Really sad because the shoe selection is nice but I would never recommend anyone going there because of her. In times like these, we should really try to treat people with kindness. The response from the owner is a total lie. Look at all of her other responses. I honestly have no clue what this crazy person is talking about! Three pair of shoes? Breaking an employees nail? None of this happened and there wasn’t one single customer in there when I was … maybe you are thinking of someone else? The way you respond to anything other than a 5 star review speaks volumes about you. Very narcissistic. I pray you get the mental help you need as you seem very miserable and mentally unstable. People please stay away?

This store has many things going for it. Michelle from New Jersey which was a pleasure to deal with someone from up north and having the best and coolest attitude. To Donna who was seriously amazing herself.
I bought a few pairs of shoes here mainly because of the staff.
And also these zHey Dude shoe's are remarkably comfortable.
I bought a few pairs and Donna needed to look for a long time to find my size 14. This store has amazing and hard to find shoe's and I was told people from all over come to this location when in town.
Donna, Michelle you both know how to make all your customers happy and content

I love this store and the amazing People that work there. We always buy our shoes there when we are in Florida and that is almost every year. We also love the way they help us in Finding everything we need. The quality off the shoes is amazing no more pain. Special thanks to Donna hope to be back in the states and youre store soon.

Awful and condescending store manager. Take a look at the owner responses to almost any negative comment on this page to get an idea of the level of maturity (or lack of it)- the responses speak for themselves. Every negative review can’t be wrong. She was very rude to me in store after trying to get some clarification on a specific brand of shoe they carry. She made assumptions without even listening to the question properly. When I tried to re-explain what I was asking so there wasn’t a mis-interpretation, she just repeated the same thing in a condescending tone, and gave a snarky bye as I left shortly after. Aside from that, great selection of shoes in brands that are hard to find options in-store. The young guy that works there has been nice and helpful the times I have gone to this store, so there have been positive experiences too. It’s ashame because this store has the potential to be more successful due to their inventory, but their poor customer service drives people away. Maybe they would have more “real customers” to help rather than an empty store if they treated their customers like human beings too.

I do a lot running throughout the year and I need to get a pair of vibrams every year sometimes twice a year because I like to match my outfits to my vibrams. But they always keep them in stock and are always friendly when I come in. Make recommendations to my current needs and the races in the future. Are really up to date with styles of the seasons. I'm never unhappy when I leave the store. Donna the owners wife is absolutely amazing and Michele is wonderful too! Linda the owners mom is wonderful, loving to chat with her when I come in. Been going for years and I'll continue to purchase from them! ?
