This is undoubtedly best shoe shop I’ve ever been to. I came in looking for some slippers and was expertly advised by the owner. I was so impressed by his wealth of knowledge and feel really happy with my new shoes. I’d come back to Maui just to visit this store!

Another great experience at Island Feet this week. I share my story with friends that have painful feet and what a difference Hoka shoes and Oofos Slippers have improved my everyday life. Recently a very close friend who lives on Oahu but couldn't find size 15 Oofos Slippers on Island so I let him know when I will be back on Maui for work which was this week. I stopped in on Thursday and sure enough Island Feet had size 15 and in a couple of different styles! Bought him his first pair of Oofos and after seeing the latest print from Oofos Camo water style I just had to get me another pair. Dropped off my friends slippers after landing back on Oahu Oofos and the next day he was so thankful he said he feels like walking on clouds and threw away his slippers. To ANYONE that experiences foot pain Island Feet is the answer and they will take the time to ensure the correct footwear to make sure you can walk in comfort every day. Awesome Staff huge in stock selection and most important Superb Customer Service everytime. Island Feet No Ka Oi.

I have never felt less welcome in a store than in this one. Zero customer service by an older haoli gentleman (probably the owner). He didn’t even try to help me. Just stood by the cash register, pointed to an entire wall in the back and told me “go over there, everything is going to work”, so rude and dismissive. No Aloha in this store whatever!

Now with the bigger location, they seem to have a lot more inventory. I’ve never had any issue with the 2 guys who own/run the store. They have always been pleasant and professional in my opinion. I have gone there quite a lot and pretty much know what I want so I usually don’t need much assistance. I have only bought Vionic sandals and fit flop sneakers, both of which are the most sturdy and comfortable for me due to a fallen arch on one of my feet. These brands are pricey and run a little higher than online, but you can’t try shoes online and shipping to Hawaii can take forever sometimes, so I pay the extra for convenience. The feet are the foundation for the body so quality, comfortable and supportive footwear is so essential.

Nice store but they only carry one sneaker brand, Hokas. Missed opportunity if you ask me as we don’t have many shoe stores on Maui..

I walked around the store for a long time looking for someone to talk to. Was about to give up and leave when the guy I had walked past ten times got up from his conversation to talk to me.
Seems like okay stuff, but price is crazy high.
I recommend any possible alternative, including ordering online, over this store.
For normal sports shoes there are several other on island alternatives.

The store owner was extremely helpful with picking out our adventure sandals! He helped us with sizes, style, and selection. My husband was teetering between two sizes and he helped him with a balance test to narrow it down for him. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I have a job where I’m walking/standing on concrete for 8 hours a day. I purchased a pair of shoes they said would be the best. Unfortunately, they hurt my back. I returned to the store to see if they could help me. They immediately knew what to do…switched me out to a different pair…at no cost to me. The new pair is incredible!!! My feet do not even get tired, and my back is so much better. Thank you!
