I grew up in a Shoe Repair Shop in Ohio. My Father had a shop which was my Grandfather's before him. (Walking in J&M store felt like home <3) My husband's shoes needed new leather soles and heels. Discussed repairing shoes versus just replacing them. I decided to go with having them repaired. Honest, upfront pricing. He did an excellent job and they were ready in less than a week. He was professional, friendly, and definitely knew his stuff. I'm grateful to have found his Shop. I'll be returning with another pair of shoes for repair and I highly recommend. Thank you so much. Husband's shoes look brand new!

Took my boots in to see about servicing them. He was very honest about their condition. Definitely saved me money and made some good points. Boots are still good and have lots of life left in them. Thank you for your honest service. Will return when they do need service.

I had a pair of boots resoled. The results were awesome. They went from looking abused to like-new condition. A 50-mile (one-way) is absolutely worth it.

Discussed a briefcase-handle repair with the owner. I got the impression that he did not seem motivated for this repair project -- perhaps any project. However, my wife had been to him earlier with a shoe-repair issue, which should be closer to his scope of work -- yet he was equally uninterested and unmotivated. It seemed to both of us that he does not want any additional work. Perhaps he is preparing for complete retirement. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I walked in with my bag trying to get answers because I have not had issues with my Louis v before. The guy straight up looked at my bag and told me what he had to do, I had to call my husband to talk with him. I walked back in and he straight up told me he doesn’t want the project and good luck. Not polite. Terrible customer service. this is my first google review ever I never post anything but I was so disgusted by how I was treated for being a young looking 30 year old woman. I was willing to pay hundreds and he just lost a customer forever
