wonderful place. had really good time for the short time i was there. just a weekend. the camping was great. camped at one spot up the hill which was very secluded and peaceful. then spent a night by the river which was very nice listening to the river. the hiking was great.spent many hours hiking around. great views. all in all was a great time and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful place to hike. However very dangerous for young kids, and terrain is not ordeal for cars. The road there was very narrow, but drivable. Once you get to the lot, there are HUGE RUTS and I scrapped the bottom in my Camry. I recommend going early or you will have to cross the creek and again the path is not ideal for cars. Overall the waterfall was breathtaking, just wish the lot would be better suited for cars.

This is a dangerous trail for children, but for those able to do this trail to the bottom of the falls is a rewarding experience. The roads are terrible. The forest service is doing a horrible job of maintaining roads, parking lots, and amenities such as toilets but nature here picks up the slack with rewarding scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

Such a great waterfall. You have to go through “the key hole” to get down which wouldn’t be for everyone.

A great place to do some more remote camping. Limited facilities so be prepared to dig a cat hole to poo. Great hiking and saw several people horseback riding. Also very good sport and Trad climbs, with mostly bolted top anchors.

Beautiful trails but not very clear on the paths. Jackson Falls is quick to find from the top most path but getting to the bottom is a challenge, then finding a way up. Awesome fact- you can boulder climb here if you bring your own gear!! Hike at your own risk. Also, the road to the park is all gravel; 2 miles feels like 10 minutes!

Awesome area to explore, the hiking trails aren't too well marked but if you have common sense you should be able to follow them. Best time to arrive is early spring after rain to see the falls flowing. During the week these trails are not busy in the slightest.
